The response from the Talibans edit was absolutely insane I thought why not hit ‘em with one more! So a few months ago I put together this mix, we dropped it at an event and it…shelled!! To be honest this track Protocol by Skeng and Tommy Lee is an absolute favourite of mine. Now the beat used is probably THE MOST RINSED West Indian remix beat there is however I don’t think it’s ever been done on...

Alright here we go… So the biggest song in the world right now TALIBANS by the super talented Byron Messia has taken the world by storm! Now normally we take dancehall type beats and drop them on Bollywood for a different style of remixes… this time I decided to flip that do something that I don’t normally do. Which is take a popular custom we’ve created that has shelled dance with our remix and d...

A message from AJR. “I always encourage everyone to always put God first. I have testimony after testimony that shows the power of Christ. Now I’m not here to convert anyone but just to spread the word. The word of God. In a world of darkness our Lord still shines his light bright and if you choose to acknowledge it… you’ll know what I’m talking about. This Holy Week is a week of understanding wha...

I think Bunji said it best “Best Late Entry of The Century!” After many years of mixtapes I decided it was the right time to drop my 1st ever 100% Soca Mixtape. I’ve always had soca apart of what I do but I’ve never done a straight up soca mix. This years soca has been the talk of music for months now. I’ve grown to really enjoy it and I said let’s put together a 112 track 2 hour and 13 min album...

Back in the 90s my family and I used to visit a local Chinese and West Indian Restaurant. This restaurant had jukebox which was loaded with all types of albums from reggae to dancehall even Indian and chutney. There was one album named CLASSIX by SANJ with a particular remix on it called O HASEENA paired with GUN IN A BAGGY with a wicked dancehall beat. This is where MY* love for Indian on Danceha...

A MESSAGE FROM AJR: “Where do I begin… I think Chutney music has been written off in many peoples book. Everyone has an opinion of the direction of where it should go after hearing when artists release their tracks. Personally I do not agree with that, I think we should be grateful we’ve got something from our culture to enjoy. A lot people would turn around and say well it’s a Bollywood sing back...

Nuh Grudges… With my birthday literally in a few hours this album is a perfect way to bring it in. This album was made months ago. I was trying to find the perfect time to release it and I figured what better time than now! This upcoming year will be a year of evolution, more successes, more opportunities, more, more and more of everything I can imagine and can’t. That all being said I would like...

A MESSAGE FROM AJR: “This album has a few levels to it. First and foremost my brother inspired me to do this album. I wanna thank you bro cause without you I don’t know if this album would’ve been done! Secondly, I was looking up to play some tracks while I went for a drive. I was really and truly trying to hear some faster pace indian and YouTube can only do so much. So I said lemme check around...

Message from AJR: “90s… the prime of dancehall/reggae in my opinion of course, with respect to all eras. I am a huge fan of 90s dancehall and it doesn’t matter how old I get I still run it back and get lost in it like it’s the first time I’m enjoying it. With this album, I’m trying to capture the earlier to mid years of dancehall and reggae in a sample size. A couple years ago I released TROBAXX 9...

A Message From @Ajr18_ “Being happy tends to be the hardest thing these days. This is because we are always on the go never stopping. Happiness shouldn’t be a task to achieve, it should be something naturally attainable. This album is to put on to sing along to… to play on your down days… to run on your drive home on a Friday… to play on hot Saturday by a pool or a beach… all these things an more...

Today is your 31st birthday. Your memory still lives with us always. Not a day goes by where you don’t cross my mind brother. Last year when you turned 30 I did a memorial album for you. When I did it I decided to not release it until this year. The reason I did this is so we can enjoy this album with our close friends and family before the public gets too. I’m not gonna lie when I was making this...

Well… we had to do it again! 🇬🇾🇯🇲🇹🇹 So last year Ajr took it upon himself to spotlight dancehall from not only Jamaica but Guyana & Trinidad. When it was made there was no expectations at all until the response resulted with over 10k in listens to date! With the overwhelming response to the first ‘CariBad’ Ajr decided to complete the sequel… CARI2BAD! This album consists of artists from Guyana, Ja...

The duo Jay Herbz & AJR are back at it again with... #TAKEITEASY This album consists of carefully pick hip hop and rnb tracks of today. What these guys went and did was chose tracks that would relate to the millienals all while closing the gap between new and old hip hop and rnb listeners. The title and overall concept of this album was to capture that rooftop vibe - that smooth, chill, sunset par...
