Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

It's pretty clear now the Chiefs are experiencing something they are not handling at all.  With distractions everywhere, Andy Reid says the team isn't turning its back on each other but it's more important now than ever to be "united."   Well, there's plenty of reasons the Chiefs are distracted and the bigger the name, the bigger the distraction.  And that includes a head coach probably questio...

Patrick Mahomes had two drives in the 4th quarter to win a game and came up short twice.  The magic is gone but that doesn't mean the magic is over.  Stan Weber explains what it will take now for the Chiefs to become a real title contender.    The bowl matchups are out for Mizzou, KSU and KU and the College Football Playoff is set but has everyone scratching their head.   Then, a record setting...

The season of giving is here and between your favorite Christmas movies and shopping for presents, let's all remember others that may not be in a position to give.  Whether it's a donation at your church, volunteer service or dropping a few bucks in the kettle at the store... it's time for all of us to give.    Christmas Shining Star is a wonderful holiday charity in Kansas City and St. Joseph...

It was fun watching Ron DeSantis win the debate against Gavin Newsom on issues, record and truth.  But, unfortunately, the voters that swing elections don't really care about trivial things like that.  We break down how this debate may have moved the needle if these were the two candidates 10 months or 4 years from now.    Every week, two or three celebrity or famous Dems are saying publicly th...

It's impossible to believe in just over 3 years more than 50,000 have subscribed to this podcast.  It's hard to give enough thanks, especially since we didn't even have a clue if anyone would listen at all.    610 Sports Radio broke some news as they say a "stadium insider" tells them Jackson County is likely to lose the Royals and Chiefs.  Now, I'm not sure that "insider" is right as I believe...

It's getting worse for Deadspin and the writer that portrayed a young Chiefs fan as racist for painting half of his face black.  Now, Holden Armenta's mom is attacking the writer and defending her family's long heritage of leadership and exceptionalism in the Chumash Indian tribe.  This was so predictable.    There's something perfectly symbolic about Joe Biden's Christmas Tree at the White Hou...

There must have been something in the gravy over the weekend that ramped up absolute insanity from one liberal media outlet after another.  Deadspin essentially calls a young Chiefs fan racist after they publish a fake photo, the KC Star pounces on a near non story at SM East but won't show the video they have and Sports Illustrated literally published Fake News written by AI.  Whew, we need a...

It's the Football Feast as we discuss with Stan Weber the possibilities for the Chiefs offense going forward as Rashee Rice emerges as the NFL's top "yards after catch" playmaker.  Also, the AFC playoff picture is goofy and Stan says that's perfect for KC.    Then it's on to the college football playoff picture, Mizzou's incredible season and if Stan will vote for Cody Schrader on his Heisman b...

It was a quick 12 hour turnaround but the Kansas Jayhawks sure made the most of it bouncing #7 Tennessee for third place at the Maui Invitational.      And Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com joins us with your pigskin picks for the weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as we celebrate the awesome holiday with some fun facts and figures.  Remember, don't talk politics at the table.  We have a better idea for you.    I don't remember any games, really, that were too fast for the Kansas Jayhawks but Marquette just sped up Bill Self's guys Tuesday night and ran them off the floor in Maui.  It was strange to watch.  The ne...

The Chiefs "stone handed" a win to the Eagles Monday night in a game where they very clearly showed they are better than Philly or anyone else.  But it doesn't matter.  5 drops, two red zone turnovers and a slew of offensive false starts and holding calls will keep the Chiefs from beating anyone. This time, this season is doomed if they don't fix their mess.    The Wall Street Journal has publi...

The "game of the year" is here but it doesn't feel nearly as important as what we know will be bigger games for the Chiefs.  Still, after 15 days off, it's time for the Chiefs to show another gear beginning now.    Kansas State came from 11 down to beat KU Saturday night in Lawrence and it reminded me of exactly how KU frequently beats K-State in hoops.    Mizzou's miracle season continues afte...

The Thursday night football game was so boring after Joe Burrow got knocked out the biggest trending story was NFL anchor/reporter Charissa Thompson's admission on a podcast that they have to speak for coaches and teams from time to time.  EVERYONE knows this but the sports "journalism" community has just unloaded on her for speaking the truth.    The Missouri Tigers were down 20 with just over...

It's mostly the Football Feast on this episode but we start with 300 Hamas supporting rioters injuring 6 Capitol Police officers... with only 1 arrest.  You've got to be kidding me.      Also, the Royals now have a new location they want to explore building a new stadium?  What a mess.   Then Stan joins us for the Football Feast.  How the Chiefs and Eagles are changing the rules of the game an...

Hunter Dickinson is a freak and when you watch him play for KU all you can ask is, why isn't he in the NBA after years of college hoops?  I'm no draft expert but I know this, he's better than everyone else in college and it showed in a stunning performance in KU's win over Kentucky.  It's as lopsided as Xi negotiating with Biden.    Good people are in focus after 300,000 supporters of Israel ga...

This is a second publication of our earlier podcast that did not show up at Spotify and a couple other services.  Sorry for the inconvenience and we hope this publishes wherever you listen to KKHI.  Thanks for your support.

They are expecting tens of thousands of supporters of Israel to march in DC today and we can only hope all these things happening in America stay safe for everyone involved.  Our crazy times are getting crazier.    The Secret Service is having a bad year as they couldn't figure out the White House cocaine scandal and now carjackers have broken into one of their vehicles and an agent fired a sho...

It's one thing to be good, it's quite another to just be on a string of good luck.  The Chiefs were the biggest winner in the NFL this weekend and they didn't even play.  We paint the playoff picture for you and it doesn't include the Bengals, Bills or Chargers right now.  Amazing.    The Missouri Tigers have really become their very best version behind the incredible performance of Cody Schrad...

The ratings are in and it was a disaster for the Ronna McDaniel led GOP as 71% fewer people are tuning in compared to the first debate.  There is no primary.  Trump is the nominee, this is all so stupid.  But wait until you hear the number of people that watched this week compared to Trump's last primary debate.  Even I couldn't believe it.    Disgraced Governor Andrew Cuomo, like so many Dems,...

Well, one day is wasted for Republicans trying to win in 2024 as they all licked their wounds saying all the wrong things.  It's a total disgrace these supposedly smart people can't see what the hell is going on.  We need truth and honesty as fast as we can get it.  Vivek Ramaswamy dialed up a whole bunch of it at Wednesday night's GOP debate and he's never stood out more from all the run of th...

I was really, really upset after results came in Tuesday night as Republican after Republican that runs seems to have no idea what they are up against.  Whether it's here in KC or in Ohio or Virginia, there is only one absolutely reliable voter, even when their issue isn't on the ballot.      There is a way to fix the problem, but good luck getting the GOP to do it.  Ohio may be the model for w...

Sorry for the delay, I had to smash my computer with a sledge hammer before I got this podcast to you.     It's election day for some and election analysis for all of us we'll try to gather some voter sentiment info based on outcomes in Kentucky and Virginia.  And locally... have Republicans mobilized enough to gain back their city councils, school boards and mayors?    The Dem freak out over Tr...

Election Day is a really bad time to have a complete meltdown of your computer but that's indeed what has happened here at KKHI.  A killer podcast was recorded, ready to roll and all systems were go.  Until they weren't.  My computer recorded and save today's podcast in a fashion that is inaudible and I'm not sending out.      After a complete shutdown and reboot, I'm hoping to do it all over a...

It's the Football Feast as the Chiefs head into a bye week with a 7-2 record atop the AFC as KC rolls to a 21-0 halftime lead against the Dolphins in Germany then rode an insanely great defensive performance to victory.  Stan helps us set the table for the second half of the season.    KSU coach Chris Klieman went for fourth and goal from the 4 yard line to try to beat Texas in OT and there's a...

Conservatives that fight back... win.  Jennifer Gilmore has been through quite a journey to get onto the Olathe School board and two years ago was speaking to the board when they cut off her mic and kicked her out.  She filed suit, and this week, a jury sided with her that the district acted unconstitutionally.  She asked for $1 and an apology, instead, the OSD spent over $250,000 fighting her....
