Just Another Friday Night

SOMEBODY SAVE MEEEEEE! If you're a fan of SMALLVILLE you likely sang this tune along with Remy Zero for 10 seasons in one the best DC shows ever created. Starring Tom Welling as a young Clark Kent in the Superboy tale we never knew we wanted cause it was the boy without the super in many ways. Showcasing his formative years in the Kansas town of Smallville. The show featured a cast that we grew up...

Remember, remember, the 5th of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? We know his name was Guy Fawkes and we know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, h...

"One life. One moment. One choice can destroy the entire universe." As the What If? series concluded we finish our discussion on the final 4 episodes including the season finale. For our thoughts on the first 5 episodes...

"Hello Clarice..." easily one of the most memorable and iconic lines in film history. Delivered with devilish perfection from the one and only Sir Anthony Hopkins in the role that defined his career. In Silence of the Lambs we were introduced to quite possibly the greatest on-screen villain of all-time Hannibal "the Cannibal" Lecter. As we begin our Halloween spooky season kick-off we wanted to ap...

We heard a joke once, man goes to doctor - says he's depressed, life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in threatening world. A name that can be credited with creating Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Darkseid and believe us the list goes on and on. His art is easily some of the most recognizable in the entire com...

The age old debate - DC or Marvel? And to take it a step further Marvel VERSUS DC?!? Back in the 90s there was a wonky comic series that attempted to tackle the two greatest comic book companies facing off. While it wasn't definitive and definitely had some questionable takes it was still fun! It kept AA and CM certainly waiting for the next issue to drop. Here and now though in 2021 AA and CM are...

There is a 5th dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call The Twilight Zone.
