Journey From Jacob

The Journey of Abram is woven with spiritual encounters, including angelic and demonic interaction. In this episode, Abram makes a definitive declaration to the spirits of darkness that his allegiance is with God and none other. That did not make him immune to fear. It made him realize that God is His shield and exceedingly great reward. The things of this world are not to be coveted and his enemi...

Spiritual darkness is a reality that is misunderstood. Horror movies and science fiction overemphasize it for profit in the entertainment world, but it is nothing to toy with, or be entertained by.. Satan is the master of deceit, the prince of darkness, and the ruler of this present age. We saw his work in the Garden, the effect on Cain's decision to murder his brother, and the destroyer of an ent...

The most well known and possibly life-changing verse in the New Testament is John 3:16. In the Old Testament there is a verse to which all of world history is hinged, Genesis 12:3. We will begin to explore why and as time goes on, how these two verses connect.

The Redemption Story did not begin in eternity even though the price paid for it did. The Lamb of God~Yeshua~was slain before the foundation of the earth. But the need for redemption arose when Adam and Eve partook of what they were supposed to resist. We will return to the origin of Jacob's journey. That is where innocence was lost, but where hope was born. It is the beginning of God's curriculum...

That is when your journey takes on meaning and significance. Your new identity becomes a sourc...

Perhaps there is much more significance and a lesson in resilience built into this episode for all. of us.

We approach the intersection of the divinity and the humanity within the soul of man. It becomes a moment of opportunity to be real with God and d...

This episode is unintentionally out of sequence. You will hear an account of the events of 9/11/2001 on Paul's journey. It is an illustration of how God can turn an unexpected disaster into a life-giving encounter. It can happen to any of us on our Journey from Jacob. Be prepared.

Comfort My People is a direct quote from Isaiah 40:1. It is a command from God, yet widely ignored for centuries. Out of the ignorance came a doctrine that is known as Replacement Theology. Today many call it Fulfillment Theology which negates the Jewish presence in the Church. For a Jew to follow Jesus is to renounce their identity as Jews. It has caused untold damage since the early church faded...

The natural/supernatural journey is one only God can initiate. It is our decision to follow Him. Comfort My People became a ministry along this journey to inform Christians about the Israel connection from the Biblical perspective, bringing inspiration and provoking determination to follow Jesus closely on the journey He has for you.

If resistance and obstacles are markers to spiritual defiance, then this episode takes the case. It has taken HOURS to get this podcast up and running again. Please consider if that gives this message more credence. If so, what's next in your life?

We will begin by explaining the connection of Jacob's journey with the ministry of Comfort My People and why we exist as a ministry. You, the listener are a vital part of this journey.
