JGJ episode 13 17.04.2024 10:18
Visiting the Chiba Kanteidan branch in Yachiyo city on April 14, 2024, I could find a 100 yen section I found to be very interesting. Also I buy a game involving high school girl corpses, and I explain honking a horn on a hill.
JGJ episode 12 17.04.2024 5:07
A short check in with the Hard Off / Off House combo store in Yachiyo city of Chiba prefecture on April 14, 2024. Not much to mention other than a rare boxed console variant I'd never seen for sale.
JGJ episode 11 16.04.2024 9:59
A report from a wonderful store in Chiba. It's the Momotaro Okoku (Peach Boy Kingdom) in Narashino, Chiba. Always good finds despite some dubious pricing, and all the good stuff is on the 2nd floor so you can ignore the card game dorks on the first floor!
JGJ episode 10 16.04.2024 10:19
The rarest retro game find ever is the most expensive thing ever sold at Hard Off. This is the report of a visit on April 14, 2024 at the store in Kamagaya, Chiba.
JGJ episode 9 11.04.2024 10:09
Back in Koshigaya city of Saitama although in a very different part than the store in a previous episode, this time I recall seeing overpriced handhelds and underpriced cartridges. I also describe how you can get locked in with birds and touch furry animals cheaply while thinking of a land down under. From April 8th of 2024.
JGJ episode 8 08.04.2024 13:12
On a rainy Monday in Saitama prefecture I visit the Hard Off store in the Kamiaoki area of Kawaguchi city. I am impressed with the condition of the games on sale, and I share how I am also impressed with the movie theater experience at the highly recommended AEON Cinema in Kawaguchi city.
JGJ episode 7 01.04.2024 11:38
The final of 3 stores in a row from Oyama city of Tochigi on March 31, 2024. Attempting to repay useful information at the end result in stuttering and stammering and humility.
JGJ episode 6 31.03.2024 16:47
One of the better used game stores in Tochigi prefecture, this is the Surugaya store in Oyama city visited on March 31, 2024. I find a great game value and also describe how character creators and fans help their beloved creations express their inner desires.
JGJ episode 5 31.03.2024 10:17
The first of 3 episodes covering stores in the industrial city of Oyama in Tochigi prefecture. This Hard Off had some rarities. It also has weird capsule birds and I buy a Call of Duty game because that's how cool I am.
JGJ episode 4 30.03.2024 14:38
To western Ibaraki close to the borders with Saitama and Tochigi, I visit the only Surugaya in the prefecture. I find expensive software for Saturn exploiting a notorious cultural vice, and then hopelessly run in and out of a Hard Off branch that usually disappoints.
JGJ episode 3 26.03.2024 10:06
This time describing one of the many Hard Off stores in Saitama, the Koshigaya Soka bypass store in Koshigaya city. In addition, bonus info about Koshigaya and why it is worth a visit.
JGJ episode 2 25.03.2024 7:59
Visiting the Guruguru Daiteikoku (Twirling Big Empire) kanteidan-style store on March 24, 2024. Also explaining the surrounding area and why you need to get a driving license before moving to Japan.
JGJ episode 1 22.03.2024 14:16
In the first store visit in this series, I describe notable things regarding the Hard Off branch located in Toyoshiki, Kashiwa city, Chiba prefecture. As a bonus, I describe buying pizza from a heavily tattooed man. I am full of gratitude for your time to listen to my steam of semi-conciousness.
JGJ episode 0 22.03.2024 3:47
Just an intro into my plans for the future. I hope you'll join me!
