Born in San Antonio, Carol Burnett paved the way for female comedians starting in the 1950’s. Kevin and Kyle grew up watching The Carol Burnett Show laughing at the hilarious skits including The Family, Mrs. Wiggins, Went With the Wind, and many others. Here, we honor Carol Burnett for her life bringing laughter to so many.

Legend has it that Jimmy Don Perkins, a short-order cook in Lamesa, Texas, accidentally created chicken fried steak in 1911.
