We're back! Let's just call this the start of season three. Forgive the audio loss - software issues. In this episode we try to see if we can take an movie geared toward adults and change it enough to appeal to tweens (think Slumber Party = Hangover)

Welcome to the Nerd Attic (Nerd Loft? it's Brocktor's kitchen) where Short Round decided it was time for an impromptu bongo concert while we ask that Hollywood get it's stuff together, then hire us. We ain't no scabs.

We discuss some of the Fantastic Four casting rumors, and other assorted nonsense.

Recording in the Nerd Lounge, Brocktor Jones and Sparky talk about some deleted scenes from horror movies before touching on the subject of the writer's strike. May the 4th be with the WGA.

All your books are belong to TV - Did we meme correctly?

Apologies for the delay. We revisit Brocktor Jones' idea of a WWE/WB Batman universe and update some casting choices. We also discuss movies that were under-marketed and some that were over-hyped.

We come up with some brilliant ideas to expand the world of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Short Round attempts to hijack the episode while we discuss the Oscars, a Beetlejuice 2 idea, and a new animated feature idea about Cryptids in the real world, doing everyday jobs.

We discuss the instant cinema classic - Cocaine Bear!  Also speculate on the various movies that will be inspired by the absurd fun of Cocaine Bear.  The second half of the show is all about Quantumania!  MVP = M.O.D.OK. 

We were not prepared at all today so we were basically free ballin'!  We talk about Wakanda Forever, The Flash trailer and those two exciting words, plus a pitch for Expendables 5.  Also, Short Round hijacks the podcast!

First we discuss what we classify as "perfect films" and then we digress into Brocktor Jones's idea for a Universal connected horror universe. 

Did you think we were done messing with the cartoons of our childhood?  You were wrong!  Now we imagine classic and modern literature being adapted into animation starring some of our old friends from Acme Acres (this includes Tazmania, and the Original Looney ones).   Here's a game: Take a drink (water is acceptable) every time you hear "Bugs in drag."

Alternate Title: Ruining Disney.  Ruin might be a strong word.  Remember Mickey's A Christmas Carol? Ever wonder what other classic pieces of literature could go for a Mickey Makeover? Wonder no more because we've got the answers on this episode.   Warning: Our adaptations are faithful to the books and are likely pretty disturbing and/or depressing.

We discuss the "Comfort Food" media that wraps us in a warm blanket of nostalgia and distracts us from the horrors of the real world. 

We pick up where we left off discussing Lobo and Birds of Prey, the Brocktor Jones outlines his idea for a Faith and Spike show called "Damaged Souls" as well as an interesting take on the Riddler. 

The opening of this might be why WB will never hire us. We are highly critical of the decision to "focus on franchises" but that frustration does lead to some great ideas, particularly Brocktor Jones' newest Riddler idea. 

Sparky has finally caught up on some Marvel titles: Werewolf by Night, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel.  So we start this marathon session by discussing those three wonderful events.  

We use a post about "The Villain Wrangler" as the jumping off point for imagining more scenarios of villains visiting sick kids. Again...we need an animated version of this. 

We're starting to be like Doctor Who - making you wait long periods between episodes. If anything we are consistently inconsistent. In this episode we discuss super hero (and villain) Halloween parties. What would each person wear?  We take this novel idea to both DC and Marvel universes. Disney and/or WB (now DC Studios) should really give us some animated nonsense of this nature. 

We continue talking about a Brendan Fraser resurgence with a new Mummy legacy sequel, then talk about all of the old radio and TV serials that need new adaptations - but kept in period! None of this modernization crap!  

We discuss the D23 reveals, some more WB goings ons, and the triumphant return of Brendan Fraser. 

After a mandatory recovery period following our Xanadu commentary, we are back with a lot of news - not much of it good.  We discuss the disaster that WB is apparently becoming, hope that Hollywood is on the verge of a new beginning, and talk about some Kevin Smith stuff.  

The first of our "Commentaries No One Asked For," in memory of the the late Dame Olivia-Newton John we watch Xanadu, with no sound and only close captioning. Be warned, neither of us have seen this movie before so we have no context for the craziness we witnessed on screen.  

We plead with the Powers that Be in Tinsel Town to hire us and help us pay our bills. Also we discuss all things SDCC, Batgirl, and Eddie Munson.
