each morning i wake up, do my morning exercises, and eat breakfast. each evening i eat dinner and lay down to sleep. i don't mind this simple routine. or, didn't. i had the time between to fill with work, chatting with friends, flirting with the nurse, and reading. but now... ever since i started reading her journal... i feel myself ever more trapped by routine. stifled by the world that has been...

having watched fen recovering from the death of faer partner, and helped where i could, i think it's time for me to say goodbye. it's been fun being around for the first time in many years, since Benn and fen were kids playing with dolls, but fen doesn't need my help anymore. i'll miss the friends i've made. i'll miss chatting with fen. but, my mind is made up. i hope, dear listener, that what lit...

Hello dear listeners. I know you're here to hear about the rest of Seabed. It's just. Lately I find myself thinking about my old cohost and partner, from whom I've been separated for several years now. To be honest, I don't clearly remember what lead to the breakup. But I feel a strange longing in my heart, and pain in my skull, when I think back on the face fae made on that day. Ah. I'm sorry, I'...

our main writer, who was also the most important person in my life, has been dead for a couple of years. the podcasts we recorded together, the feeling of their presence in this apartment, the sound of their voice as we walked together. i've come to terms with the fact that it's all been a hallucination, a way to deal with the grief of losing someone so close to me so suddenly. even knowing she's...

our main writer was last scene tumbling out of the sky as the wings they had put together fell apart. after metaphorically flying so close to the sun and not getting burnt so many times, it seems she wanted to try for real this time... please keep them in your thoughts as you listen to this very long episode where shockingly few things are actually discussed. next time, we’ll be covering the first...

our main writer is alive and well, but is fighting off a hoard of challengers for her golden badge and the 8th rank it comes with. what's that? you didn't know she was a marital arts genius? neither did i, but apparently removing their glasses lets them unleash their martial prowess. they were trying to hide it, but now that the proverbial cat is out of the proverbial bag there's an endless stream...

i saw our main writer talking to a wizard a couple of weeks ago, but did my best to put it out of my mind. i know they like wizards, both metaphorical and literal, and we had podcasts to record. last night i found them being eaten up by some kind of magical plant while battling someone who was dressed in what looked like a sexy nun outfit from spirit halloween. they will be missed. this episode is...

once again the main writer is indisposed. i heard her chuckling not long before i found dead on her chair, with a little pop up that showed them failing a pain threshold challenge. they will be missed. anyway, what happened this episode? it's a little hard to remember, i woke up in alice's mansion and all i remember something about wrapping up the remainder of mahoyo. that must have been this epis...

sorry everyone who likes capital letters or well written descriptions. our main writer broke both arms tussling with a wild animal and so i'm back to writing the description this week. it's honestly amazing that she's able to prep for podcast with two broken arms, but she's made it somehow. back to this episode though, we get a final confrontation with touko and a lot of setup for mahoyo 2. it's.....

This time, on Mahoyo: The girls on an aquarium date that couldn't be straighter if one of them was a boy. A long lost relative drops by the house. And the arrival of a new lil baby boy heralds bad news for our heroines... Next time, we’ll be covering Mahoyo chapters 11-13, finishing the main game! Roll credits! We've still got a little bit of bonus materials after, so hold on that stuff. We'll als...

That's right, I'm back to writing the description this week. You can tell because I know how to use capital letters, unlike a certain fen. Anyway this week we're leaning hard into the romcom antics, and watching Aoko bite off a bit more than she can chew with the lifestyle domme thing.. Next time, we’ll be covering Mahoyo chapters 9 and 10, as well as both of the available EX chapters (World of Pl...

sorry, dear listener for the quality of our episode descriptions recently. our main writer got trapped in a bottle at the end of this episode and i overheard a couple of witches debating what to do with them. hopefully she gets let out and we're able to podcast this weekend... but, in the meantime, we were barely able to get this episode recorded where we talk about things such as: was revue starl...

Today we're starting Mahotsukai no Yoru, the last proper vn type-moon made before tsukihime:re came out almost ten years later and proved that type-moon still has it. Next time, we’ll be covering mahoyo chapters 4 and 5. For yuri teatime we're skipping al|together because we're covering revue starlight el dorado, fulfilling our quota of vns. Featuring co-hosts Benn Ends (@bennends) and fen (@fenic...

Closing out a run of goofy spin off works, your intrepid hosts dive into the (extremely short) Fate/ Prototype OVA! A tiny peek into an alternate version of Fate/ stay night, where Saber was a boy, Lancer had a fur coat, and Kotomine was replaced by that top hat pervert from KNK 5. Next time, we’ll be entering the era of The Witch on the Holy Night, otherwise known as Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, or Maho...

The festival is starting! This time your intrepid hosts are covering the manga Take-Moon and the anime adaptation Carnival Phantasm! Coming on the tail end of a lot of goofy spin offs, Carnival Phantasm is something of a tone setter for Type-Moon comedy going forward. Is that a good thing, or…? We also cover a cornucopia of Menhera VN Jam games, and even answer some emails that we’ve been punting...

In what may be our shortest episode ever, your beloved hosts come together to (nominally) discuss Melty Blood X, a short Back Alley Alliance spin off story. In practice, we mostly talk about Malcatras’ Maiden and Void Stranger. They’re a lot more fun, honestly. Next time, we’ll be covering the Carnival Phantasm anime along with Take-Moon, the manga it’s based on. For Yuri Teatime we’ll be covering...

In Which Two Girls Lean Heavily On The Yuri Teatime Segment We have a couple small things this week to give us a break before the impending Mahoyo. First up: Room of the April Witch, a one off standalone short story. Second: Koha-Ace, a one volume meta gag manga that nominally stars Kohaku. It’s a bit of a light episode. Next time, we’ll be covering the Melty Blood X manga, as well as the visual n...

it's back to tsukihime this week... kinda? it's the year 3000, humanity is dying, and arcueid asexually reproduces. probably. tsuki no sango is a mixed bag, but we found enough to chat about. next time we have a grab bag of two things: room of the april witch and the first volume of koha-ace. and for yuri teatime we're doing the al|together game wanders in the sky, accompanied by the third volume...

The tidal pressure of the digital see draws us ever deeper… This time we’re covering Fate/EXTRA weeks 4-5, both the Rin and Rani route. They’re uh, not as divergent as you might hope. Next time, we’ll be covering the end of EXTRA. Send questions! For Yuri Teatime we’ll be covering the full run of Blue Reflection Ray, the anime sequel to the jrpg Blue Reflection. On top of that we have The World To...

A new journey begins! The digital sea is here! This time we’re covering the beginning of Fate/EXTRA. That’s the prologue and weeks 1-3. In fact, keep playing right up to the route split (you’ll know it when you see it.) Next time, we’ll be covering weeks 4 and 5 of EXTRA. We’ll be discussing both routes at once! For Yuri Teatime we’ll be covering Persona 3 Portable playing as the girl protag, natu...
