How do you deal with suffering? Sometimes, the Christian worldview doesn't always equip us for suffering. We don't leave room for it in our theology. However, suffering is a part of life that has a place and purpose that God uses for His glory and our good. Jerell explores suffering for the believer. 

What's it like being a missionary? This question maybe comes up when we see a flier or hear from a missionary visiting a church, but in that question is another question. Aren't we all missionaries? Jeff shares about his work in Turkey and Cambodia as well as how it translates to the lives of every Christian no matter where they are. 

Are you tired of the noise? Chances are, you probably are not. With statistics around phone usage out of control, it's easy to see the effects of the noise we invite into our own lives moment by moment. However, Lew posits that we might have lost something valuable to antiquity that should be recovered. 

Sometimes we're thrust before Jesus. The woman caught in adultery did not come to Jesus, she was caught in her sin and drug to Him. Yet, she was shown mercy. Jamie takes us back to this important event and revisits the material from the Encounter series to show us how good it can be to go back over and over to God's Word. 

If you've heard it once, you've heard it a thousand times.  Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to the Gospel. We should never tire of its beauty and myriad applications. Sean shares how the Gospel doesn't just transform our behavior but also our attitudes as well. 

Well, that didn't feel good.  We've all been hurt, it's kind of a part of our human narrative since the Fall. This is true with friends, families, and even inside the church. Sean answers the question about how we handle being hurt by a pastor or leader in the church. 

How do we support our brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as our pastors, as church members? This is something you might not have considered. It's easy to think of church as a place you go for an hour and a half on Sundays, but there's more to it than that. Sean helps us think through what it means to be a part of a local church and how that is a blessing to us and others around us. 

Are you walking in the Spirit? Chances are, you've heard this phrase in the church or in Scripture. However, you may have never heard it explained. Sean helps us understand what it means to walk in the Spirit. 

My house isn't clean enough! We all have ideas in our heads that stop us from crossing the street, literal or proverbial, and meeting our neighbor or familiar barista. However, as ambassadors for Christ we are called and empowered to know and be with our neighbors. We all have a hard time understanding God's character at times and because of that we approach His instruction more or less biblically. What do we do when we hit a wall? Sometimes when we encounter portions of Scripture we're left unsure of what to do with them. Jaime shares what she's been chewing on regarding David's characteristics in the Old Testament.

If only I had more faith! This quiet (or not so quiet) crisis has probably hit everyone at some point. However, the Jesus of the Bible shows us that He's less concerned with how much faith a person has and more concerned with who that faith is placed in. Jamie shares insights from the Encounter women's Bible study. 

What is the good life? We are all chasing something, but whether or not it's the right thing or we're engaging the right way is riddled with as many options as sand on the sea. However, Lew shows us how the first two chapters of Psalms prove to not simply be flowery poetry but rich wisdom literature that addresses what it means to live the good life. 

What was it like? That's the question that begins the Encounter women's Bible study. Jamie shares how her team is looking at what it was like for key women in the Bible to encounter Jesus. Where were they physically, spiritually, socially, and how did Jesus meet them. 

It's all coming together now! If it hasn't been clear up to this point, the Lord's Prayer has proven to be a rich and powerful model for prayer. Jerell wraps everything up from the Men's Breakfast teaching series and puts a nice bow on it. 

We've all thought about Heaven. For some it's characterized by flying naked babies, for others it's being a floating orb at a Chris Tomlin concert forever. However, Sean reminds us of what Scripture has to say on the matter of Heaven and it's better than both.

What  does it mean that Scripture was written in a different time and place? When we read Scripture, we often do so from a modern cultural lens. That is to say, we understand the Bible how we understand anything today. However, Lew shares how understanding the context it was written in can help us in our faith.

What do we do when we read the Bible? Sometimes we rush to application, as if all it has to offer is an intellectual ascent.
