Mitch and Pat are back to talk about some summer league basketball where they remain calm about every player and their positive or negative showings.

Pat does a solo-pod to wrap up the draft by going into expert opinions on Beringer and offering a brief glimpse at Zikarski. 

After some finals and KD talk, Pat presents his Timberwolves draft guide to Mitch (25:00) as they go through some of the different options available to the Wolves at 17. Who fits well? What's the latest buzz about who is rising and falling? And what would we do if we were GM?

Mitch and Pat have an accountability session on their preseason predictions and then bid farewell to the 24-25 season by paying tribute to each of the players and Chris Finch.

As we head into the offseason, Pat has three early offseason questions that he needs to bounce off someone: Who should the Wolves marry, date or break up with in regards to their 3 free agents? Can Rob Dillingham be the PG longterm next to Ant? Does this team currently have a player on it that can be the 2nd best player on a championship roster?

The Wolves get blown out in OKC leading to the end of the 2024-2025 run. While Mitch and Pat spend the first part of the podcast talking about the game, the majority is spent talking about the Wolves team and what it might take for them to take the next step as a contender.

In what was a really good playoff games, the stars for the Thunder were near perfect while the stars for the Wolves were anything but. What kept the game close was the effort of the bench, with all four bench players combining for 64 points, two more than the starters. In the end, the Wolves fall to 1-3 in the series, with an incredibly tough game coming Wednesday.

Now this is podracing! Behind a potentially career best game from Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves win at home to bring the series to 2-1. So nice to see the Timberwolves play at the top of their game as a full 9-man rotation. Yes, you read that correct - TJ has forced his way into the lineup for the rest of the series and beyond by being unstoppable in his two stints on the floor tonight.

In game 2, the Wolves give a much better 48 minute effort, but it still isn't enough against a Thunder team at the top of their game. With the series shifting to Minnesota Saturday, the Wolves are going to need to dig deep to find something to change the feeling of the series.

Wolves turn the ball over and miss a plethora of wide open 3-point shots. Those were our two key factors and both went against the Wolves... game 2 is on Thursday, let's see if they can bounce back!

Lucky us, we get the chance to do another deep dive pod for a playoff series - though, doing just one more would be even better. The Wolves play the best team throughout the season in the Thunder; do they have a chance? OKC's strengths, weakness, and how the Wolves match up along with final predictions all coming your way!

After a genlteman's sweep of the Golden State Warriors, the Wolves advance to the Western Finals to face either the OKC Thunder or Denver Nuggets. Ant set a playoff career high in assists, Julius was the most consistent player in the series, and with a defense that is flashing the highs we saw last season, it's time to come to this realization: The Timberwolves are a NBA Championship contender.

The Timberwolves push the Warriors season to the brink with a knockout blow in the 3rd quarter of game 4. Ant entered the avatar state, Jaden got a double-double, and playoff Julius continues his coming out party.

The Timberwolves get game 3 on the road against a Steph Curry-less Warrior team. Even without their hall of famer, the Warriors defense was as elite as ever, and even with a breakout performance from Kuminga and an appearance of playoff Jimmy, it wasn't enough. A 2-1 series lead, as homecourt advantage has been restored.

The Minnesota Timberwolves returned to form in game 2 vs the Golden State Warriors. Jaden McDaniels was fantastic on defense, Randle filled the stat sheet, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker broke out of his prolonged slump. 1-1, now a best of 5 series,

The Minnesota Timberwolves came out for game 1 like it was a Tuesday night in the regular season. The Warriors were faster to the ball, stronger going for offensive rebounds, and overall just a better team on game 1. Hopefully a nice wakeup call for the Wolves about what it takes to play a team that is going to give all out effort.

It's time once again to preview a new playoff series. Mitch and Pat start off by breaking down the key stats between the two teams before asking the big questions of the series: 1. Who are the Warriors going to play? 2. Are the Warriors more 2024 Mavs or 2025 Lakers? 3. Playoff Jimmy or Playoff Julius? 4. Can Anthony Edwards win another series with his intellect as much as his ability? 5. Can Dray...

Rudy Gobert leads the way tonight with 27-24 as the Timberwolves end the Lakers season. Not even historically bad shooting could keep the Wolves from advancing as the Lakers roster just proved to not have the same talent level. Now it's time to wait for the winner of GS vs Houston before the next series begins Monday or Tuesday next week,

And just like that, the Timberwolves have taken a 3-1 series lead behind All-NBA performances from all the studs in the game. The back and forth affair was marked by shotmaking, hard fouls, and physicality. But in the end, the game was all about Anthony Edwards being the best player on a court shared with two future hall of famers.

The Minnesota Timberwolves take game three behind a 13-1 performance in the clutch led by Anthony Edwards. In the non-clutch minutes, Jaden McDaniels was the team MVP, scoring 30 points and locking down a sick Luka Doncic all game long. With just 42 hours between games, the Wolves have a chance to get a stranglehold on this series Sunday afternoon.

From the get-go, the Lakers were the more physical and desperate team. While the Wolves were able to hang around, ultimately their lack of shotmaking condemened them to a loss despite a defense that was good enough to win. Homecourt has still been stolen, onto game 3!

Welcome to the postseason! The Minnesota Timberwolves dominate the Lakers in all facets of the game on their way to a blow out win. Offensive scheme, defensive scheme, coaching and execution all favored a Wolves team that also had some love in outside shooting variance. Jaden McDaniels leads the way as the Big Ticket Award winner, Naz Reid Naz Reided, and Anthony Edwards won a game with his brain...

And here we go. Mitch and Pat are back for their favorite kind of episode; a statistical deep dive in a playoff matchup. They spend time digging into who the Lakers have been post-Luka trade, see how their strengths and weaknesses match up with the Wolves, talk about what a winning series would look like for each team, and give their final series predictions. Spoiler: They do not agree.

The Timberwolves finish the regular season at 49-33 as the sixth seed in the West. They will play the LA Lakers in round 1, but before diving into that matchup, Mitch and Pat take some time to remember the the moments that defined the regular season.

Writing too much about this game would do a disserivce to the game of basketball. The Nets played their 3rd and 4th sringers against the Wolves who were professional enough to win, led by Rudy Gobert who tied a career high. All eyes turn to Sunday where the Wolves are poised for the 5 or 6 seed with a win.
