Dunks After Dusk

We cap off the final (very late) game of this West Coast stretch with a running diary in the victory over the Warriors. The Wolves played... better! Got a little sloppy in the second half, but they still finish the night with a double-digit victory. Ant soars, Ayo closes, and the losing streak is over!

Well, not the most fun game to attempt a running diary of. But at least it was a 10:15pm start that ended at 12:30am!

The Timberwolves win their 5th game in a row (and 8 of their last 9) by playing some of their best basketball of the season in the 3rd quarter tonight. Highlight after highlight leads the Wolves to a 4-23 record, now alone in 3rd in the West.

Mitch and Pat talk the Memphis game, SloMo's debut, and respond to a first ever listener voice note asking about why the tone of the podcast has been less positive this season.

Three wins in a row for the rollercoaster Wolves who are on another upswing with a victory in Denver. Jaden McDaniels takes home the big ticket, but the win was predicated on team basketball and a brief visit to the Bone Zone.

Well, the Wolves are back after the All-Star break! And unfortunately - they have not completely fixed their faults. The good is still there, but unfortunately the ugly reared its face a bit more during these two games.

The Timberwolves dominate a game vs the Trailblazers on the eve of the All-Star break. Jaden McDaniels set the tone with defense and Julius Randle put the exclamation point on the game in the 4th quarter. 34-22, 5th place in the West.

The Wolves travel to Milwaukee without Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert and play some absolutely dominant basketball on both ends of the floor.

The Wolves offense needed a little trip to Chicago to get things back on the right track. Naz Reid led the way with Julius Randle as the focal point of the offensive flow.

While the game against the Nuggets on Christmas was a ton of fun to watch, the late game collapse followed by one of the worst "no shows" of the season against the Nets have left the Wolves questioning their DNA. 

After talking about the last two Wolves wins, Mitch and Pat are here to hand out their annual gifts for the Timberwolves team.

An effort that was 28 games in the making for the Wolves as they put forth 48 minutes of effort and it leads to them beating the defending champs and best team in the league. Anthony Edwards entered the avatar state for the final minute, Chris Finch wanted to fight a referee, and the whole team commits to defense,

The Minnesota Timberwolves battled the Memphis Grizzlies and... Jock Landale hit as many 3s as the Wolves did in the 2nd half.

The Timberwolves play the Sacramento Kings for the 4th time this season and win despite being down Anthony Edwards. It was a take care of business win, but these last couple of games did leave Pat with some bigger roster thoughts.
