Driving While Awesome

Technology bites us in the ass, but we forge ahead. Happy Thanksgiving!

November rain spoils our fun.   Check out the new New Balance skate video 'Intervals'

All three off us were at RADwood SoCal. We talk about how it's evolved from when we started RADwood back in 2017, and we go over some of the standout cars from the show.

Lane Visits the guys at Kooglewerks, Art has an E30 update, Warren goes silent, and we answer questions from the listeners.

We complain about technology, talk about F1, Warren has project car updates, and we answer questions from the listeners.

We talk about our adventures on the DWA! Rally XV,  driving amazing roads in Northern California, crushing beers, and eating mediocre food.     We'd like to thank our Rally sponsors: - Cars & Bids - Griot's Garage - Beeline Motor Club - Throttle Grotto - Cat & Cloud Coffee

Excuse the audio, we had some technical difficulties.   Lane went to Luftgekuhlt 10 at Universal Studios Hollywood and he and Warren talk rally prep and answer some questions from the listeners.

Lane drives a BMW E60 M5 manual, is Danny Ric really out of Formula 1?, and trivia.

Rally prep continues

Warren and Art are on their own while Lane is on tour in Memphis and Ohio. They talk about Radwood Detroit and answer questions from our awesome listeners.

We talk about the passing of James Earl Jones, which gets us into movie talk, then we answer some questions from the listeners and we wrap the show up with some trivia.

Art and Warren return from RADwood PNW, and we are all preparing for the DWA! Rally #15 in Northern California.   If you are interested in joining us on the DWA! Rally, learn more and register at www.drivingwhileawesome.com/dwarally

Art and Warren sat down with Forrest Davis of Griot's Motors to learn about growing up as a car guy in the PNW, owning the coolest VW Bug around, and how he became the shop foreman at their world-class restoration facility in Tacoma, WA.

We are joined by our good friend and DWA! Podcast regular Ali Javidan to talk about what we did during Monterey Car Week.

Clark Sopper of RoundCat Racing fame is back from Japan for Monterey Car Week. He sits down with Warren and Lane over Jerky to answer some listener questions, they talk about what they are going to do during Car Week, and Lane and Clark have a good ol' auction results battle...who is your money on?

Warren and Lane sit down with Giovanni Sgro, Head of Motorsport for Maserati at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in beautiful Carmel California right after the debut of their new Maserati GT2 Stradale.   We talk about the passion for the brand, Giovanni's relationship with Maserati and motorsport, and the new track-only MCXtrema. We hope you enjoy the show!

A few weeks ago, Warren sat down with Jay Ward, Creative Director at Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California to discuss how his passion for cars shaped the Cars franchise, some history of Pixar, and more.

Art is on assignment in Alaska for his 40th birthday, Warren rides in a Waymo taxi, and Lane kills it at trivia.   RIP Nicole Chabot Ryan.

Our friend John Greco is in town from Dallas Texas, and he has Jerky, and a list of questionable dream cars...let's podcast!

Art, Warren, and Dante talk inside baseball about RADwood NorCal while Lane is on special assignment in Maui (for the record, Lane wore shorts the entire trip, and never wore jeans while on the island of Maui, and only wore his New Balances to and from the airport).

Warren and Art prep for RADwood NorCal as Lane gets ready for Island life.

Ali joins the crew to talk about his luxury SUV buying/owning experience, selling the MK1 Escort and more.

It's Hot, but our little slivers of land by the coast are staying cool as ICE. We talk about weird food, F1, DWA! Morning Motors, and much more. Thanks to all our listeners and supporters over the past 10+ years.   Don't forget to rate and review the show wherever you listen...we are told it helps something.

Warren drives to Yosemite with his family in their new Mazda CX-50 and Lane does a private track day at Sonoma Raceway in his Porsche 981 Boxster S. All this and more on this episode of the DWA! Podcast.
