During this episode, Jovana expresses her love for the original music produced for the film while Stefan attempts to shoehorn in as many Seal lyrics as he can, drawing the ire of... everyone.

On this episode, Stefan lobs Cherry Falls (2000) at Mitch. This problematic, decade-straddling slasher film centers around a killer hellbent on dispatching the virginal teens of Cherry Falls, who must make the ultimate decision... have sex or die. On this week's episode, Stefan opts to throw Greener Grass (2019) at Mitch. Find out if this wildly dark comedy set in a warped reality successfully drags Mitch to hell. During the madness, Jovana questions the utility of normalized runtimes and Mitch looks back on the soap opera Passions with misty-eyed fondness. 

In a desperate bid to successfully drag Mitch to hell, Stefan selects the nuclear option -- Malibu Express (1985). Jovana reflects on her time lost watching this movie. Mitch hates the Buffingtons. Listen and revel in the rapid mental decay of all involved.

Fun fact: Mitch is generally split on David Cronenberg films. Playing the odds, Stefan forces Mitch to watch Scanners. Jovana expresses her deep desire to become a Scanner. Happy Birthday, David Cronenberg.

On this episode, Stefan cheats by selecting a movie that Mitch almost immediately turned off years ago -- Bong Joon-Ho's The Host (2006). May this be a constant reminder that cheating gets you nowhere. Jovana again carries the torch of intelligent discussion that we'd be otherwise lacking. 

Valentine's Day might be over, but that doesn't mean you have to stop watching steamy movies. Jovana joins Stefan and Mitch for a discussion on David Lynch's Wild At Heart. During this episode, Jovana and Stefan discuss their time working at Ottawa's Bytowne Cinema, which has since closed due to the pandemic (this episode was recorded mid-December).  RIP to an institution.
