Divide And Multiply

My inspiration for this episode came from a question posed on one of the Corrections pages I follow on FB.  

I would like to paint you a picture of how my work day went today. I am a gigantic black cloud when it comes to being in our booking area.

This episode is a brief glance into why people who work in corrections develop a twisted sense of humor as a way of coping with the more disgusting parts of the job.

Here are a few examples of why you should stay in school. Simple math is really not that difficult.

This is a brief explanation of why I chose to do a podcast. There's also what I think is maybe a not-so-funny situation that one of our dispatchers shared with me, and I feel the need to share it with you. I think this will explain why we in law enforcement have such a strange sense of humor. We develop it to deal with the situations that we respond to. You just can't make this stuff up!

Working in law enforcement - specifically corrections - for almost 30 years gives a person a unique perspective on things. I'll be sharing my experience with you. I'll also have friends join me to share theirs as well. This is my take on humor, managing stress, and life in general. Please know that there will probably be strong language sprinkled throughout this podcast. Thanks for listening!
