Dispatch Ajax! Podcast

Want to know why Maus was taken out of the curriculum in a Tennessee town?  Want to  know what that has to do with QAnon?  In this we pull a frayed thread in the tacky sweater of conspiracy theories.

This week's episode is a discussion about the best, worst and weirdest comic book movie castings pf all time. We get through as many as we can and, trust us, we cover A LOT.

Because of a delay in our Multiverse series we're posting a short from Memory Gamma about Star Trek Tech!

You think you're ready for Multiverse of Madness?  Guess again.  Our next series dissects the concept of the Multiverse in comics.  First up: MARVEL.

We recorded a metric pant-load of audio in 2021. A good 60% will never air.  But recapping our launch year through what we deleted seems just as appropriate as what we published.  So, we hope you find some fun in the stuff we left out last year.

In our ever growing Geek Culture analysis and explanations we've added our first Cult Movie recap to Dispatch Ajax!  We call it Eastside Theatre Guild Midnight Buffet and our first fantastic flick is the simian classic A*P*E* from 1976. It's a cheap King Kong knock-off set in Korea and *BOY* does it smash. Ape out.

In our final episode of 2021 we tackle the first in our series on Cartoons Forgotten by Time! Anyone remember Dino Riders? Because we sure do.

In our special Christmas episode we delve deep into the history of Christmas Horror and where it comes from! In one of Jake's babies we explore the long and storied tradition of Horror and the Holidays.

Good Afternoon, Dear Listeners.  Today we have a special bonus episode.  This is from Doctor Harvey's fictional Star Trek True Crime Podcast - 'Memory Gamma' - which we are folding into Doctors Harvey and Nelson's - Dispatch Ajax!  Set in the Trek Universe we cover Villains from the shows and movies as complex beings and their place in the Big Picture.  I can give you my comple...

This week we tackle a *complicated* topic in 'The Mandela Effect'!  Man,  this one goes deeeeeeep. We cover everything from alternate universes to psycho-analytics.  Expect to go down a Rabbit Hole!

Our long series on Highlander is finally done!  After this you will know most of what there is to know about the franchise - and probably stuff you didn't want to know.

The biggest scam in comic book history you may have never heard of.  We're pretty proud of this one.

Our Highlander series is on full blast in this episode!  We cover a lot of (holy) ground and have a lot of laughs over those Good Ole Immortal Boys.

In this special Highlander bonus episode we tackle some important pillars of the franchise, bridging the gap between episodes two and three.  And yes, it was early and Skip was hungover. A bit.

A special episode for Spooky Season! We discuss  the surprising origins of some of the most famous Horror Tropes out there.

Here's our dive into the 80's classic film on Arthurian Legend 'Excalibur'!

Part two of our immortal series on Highlander! Half of it was recorded on a dining room table, so we hope you forgive a slight reverb.

Doin' it for the 'Ween.  Here are some films we enjoy to marathon for Spookytimes!  We had about a thousand more but here are some underrated movies to get you started.

Forgive the audio for our pilot. We weren't even going to release it but we thought it was fun enough (and we reference it A LOT later) to put out there.  Enjoy our breakdown of Flash Gordon!

Our first episode in a series breaking down the Highlander franchise. There are several of them, so we will spread them out over time.  Enjoy our breakdown of Highlander!

We launch in a matter of days! If you haven't gotten a sense of what we're all about yet here's another peek into our brains. Nf4ivnJYZDAJTqKafvQo

Our launch is nigh!  Here are a couple of snippets from our frequent jam sessions.  Follow us on @dispatchajaxpod for the latest info and updates!

Here's trailer 2 to show you we mean business.

Dispatch Ajax! is an upcoming podcast where two life-long Geeks do deep dives to explain, critique and poke fun at some of the biggest pillars of Geek Culture.  From Comics to Sci-Fi to Fantasy, Skip and Jake will explain it all!
