Some times children show maladaptive behavior because of an underlying condition or illness. Even with the slightest flu, children exhibit behavioral changes such as clinginess, irritability, demotivation and tantrums. Understanding this and making allowances will go a long way in normalizing these behaviors and reduce the stress on parents/guardians.
