CRITICAL!

It's our WWF games redux! Starting with the 8 Bit games made by Rare, the studio that would go on to make Donkey Kong Country, GoldenEye and other classic games. We also haven't stopped being mad at AEW Fight Forever and deep dig into figures as always.

Big bad boys from outer space - Ultimate Muscle! - here to body slam the human race - Ultimate Muscle! Wrestlers race to our defense with strength, and speed, and... flatulence? - (pfffft!) - Ultimate Muscle! Ultimate Muscle! Heroes join the operations from different planets and different nations, there's an intergalactic federation - to monitor the situation, catch each and every confrontatio...

Among the topics on this week's episode are the UFC games for the Dreamcast, Game Boy Colour and PlayStation (Spoilers: the PS1 version is ass). Mongo talks the UFC 5 beta and his love of VH1 reality shows. I review the Epic Toys Retro Haku and the Mattel Retro Four Pack.

It's another trip down Mixed Martial Alley as we take a look at PRIDE GP 2003. An underrated game, the best PRIDE game and the best MMA game of it's era. We also talk UFC 5, Mortal Kombat 1 story SPOILERS , as well as a little bit of Spider-Man 2 and The Crow? And figure talk as usual. I swear this is still a wrestling game podcast.

A break from pro-wrestling this week as we look at PRIDE FC on the PS2. A promotion that for a lot of people was the peak of MMA. Pride Never Die. Also, we talk UFC 5 news and the barren wasteland that is AEW Fight Forever.

This week, we take a look at Online Pro Wrestling. Essentially WWF Smackdown!: Shut Your Mouth without a lot of features and weird creations. We also deep dive into the Ultra Pro Wrestling Showcase and talk about the roster and features. Rest in Peace Terry Funk and Windham Rotunda

This week, we take a look at Champion Wrestler. Taito's overlooked Fire Pro clone released for the PS1 in 1996. News includes the tumbleweed passing through the desert that is AEW Fight Forever, UPW announcements and more.

A bit of a different episode this week as instead of reviewing a specific game, we look at the video game career of White Thunder, the Superstar, the Big Bad Booty Daddy, Freakzilla, the Michigan Math Mack Daddy, Scott Steiner. This is also an XXL sized episode as there's a lot to go over in Figure Talk due to San Diego Comic Con. Sorry for some of the audio issues I was experiencing this week...

Today, we look at Saturday Night Slam Masters aka Muscle Bomber: The Body Explosion. Considered an arcade classic by fans, but sadly overlooked by Capcom itself. We also talk Ultra Pro Wrestling and the AKI influence, WrestleQuest, The Wrestling Code and of course, action figures.

It's Wednesday. You know what that means. CRITICAL! Special Report #2 is live, and this time, we're talking AEW Fight Forever.! We talk about the good, the bad, and the outright wacky. Is it worth your time?.... I apologize for some of the audio issues with this episode. Had to record from a new location this week.

King of Colosseum II is the best wrestling game of all time.

Spike's King of Colosseum Red & Green, the follow up to Soul of Champion. Two games combined that would have been considered by some as the best wrestling game of all time if it wasn't for the next game we're going to talk about. We also go over the boatload of Fight Forever news and media that has been released.

This week, we take a look at Zen-Nippon Pro Wrestling: Ouja no Tamashii, which translates to All Japan Pro-Wrestling: Soul of Champion. This game serves as the precursor to the King of Colosseum series on the PlayStation 2. A frustrating first step but it would pave the way for what some consider the best wrestling game of all time. Edit: This episode was recorded before the AEW Fight Forever achi...

This week it's SEGA's All Japan games. All Japan Pro-Wrestling featuring Virtua Fighter, Giant Gram and Giant Gram 2000. The third game especially is considered a classic of the wrestling genre. Damn, we didn't talk about Jim Steele as the real life Wolf Hawkfield. Note: We're switching to a bi-weekly format to better fit work schedules.

This week, we're talking about the All Japan Pro-Wrestling games developed for the Super Famicom by Natsume. If you're outside Japan, you may remember Natsume Championship Wrestling, a port of the second game in the series without the AJPW license.

This week, we talk about Wrestle Kingdom 1 + 2 which are...in my opinion, some pretty boring games with great rosters. Also, Doug Basham and D-Von Dudley's severed leg. No new episode next week!

This week, we take a look at the All Star Pro-Wrestling series by Square/Square Enix. Some of the most visually impressive wrestling games ever made. Also, the Wonderful World of Pat Tanaka and Steve Austin calls Pro-Wrestling NOAH.

WWE 2K23 is out now so here is our review. We've got a lot to say about what I think is an incredibly user unfriendly game. Is it fun? Let's find out. Note: No new episode next week.

This week we talk about the Toukon Road series which were games that existed if you didn't have a Playstation and Toukon Retsuden 3. GCW vs AEW Fight Forever, JEFFY, and licensing in China.

A whopper of an episode this week as we're joined by Sam Vallely of Hyperfocus Games. Developer of Ultra Pro Wrestling which is smashing through Kickstarter right now. We talk about the Kickstarter, goals for the game, inspiration, story mode..pretty much anything you want to know!

This week, we cover the Varie New Japan Pro-Wrestling games for Game Boy and Super Famicom. Some you should avoid, some worth checking out. News of the week, figure talk and tech issues that have my brain leaving my body.

Toukon Retsuden is a huge part of wrestling game history. The first 3D wrestling game, YUKES first game and a port that would introduce us to legendary ring announcer Gorgon. This week we cover the whole series, Toukon Retsuden 1-4, Toukon Retsuden on the WonderSwan, Toukon Retsuden Advance and Power Move Pro Wrestling.

I'm annoyed that the ending of Episode 13 is messed up I decided to edit and upload Episode 14 as quick as I could. So here it is! We revisit and go more in depth with the WWF arcade games that we talked about in a previous episode. WWF Superstars, WWF WrestleFest and WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game. - The Big Dirty LB

Rumble Roses is the game of the week. A fun game, although one very much of it's time with the jiggliest physics you can imagine. We spend a lot of time on the news of the week after the reveal of WWE 2K23. Edit: Unfortunately, there was an issue that caused the episode to cut off during figure talk. My apologies :(

A very special episode this week as we're joined by Freem to talk Virtual Pro-Wrestling 2 and Virtual Pro-Wrestling 2 freem Edition. But really, the discussion shifts to anything and everything as Freem also joins us to break down the news of the week as well as talk WWE games. Fun episode so please check it out!
