Draft season is the perfect time to bring back an old segment we haven't done in a while: Confession! We must repent for some of our sinful sports takes, and nothing provides more takes that age poorly than a draft.

We have our first three-peat guest on Cover 2! DaMichael Cole is a columnist for The Commercial Appeal in Memphis as well as a podcast host for Locked On Grizzlies. The Grizzlies have been in the news plenty lately, so the crew has a lot to talk about. DaMichael even shares a few thoughts on some of the latest in the boxing world.

As far as NBA drafts go, this year's was not the most entertaining. Even so, Joe and Cole found a few takeaways from the event. Kobe Brown, one way or another, found himself getting drafted to the LA Clippers in the FIRST ROUND. Cole has identified one player in the draft who he will be rooting for moving forward. People fear that Lonzo Ball isn't too far away from retirement.

Paul Goldschmidt has been a pleasure to watch in a Cardinals uniform, but it's time for the organization to move on from him. Goldy is certainly not to be blamed for the team's atrocious performance thus far this season, but that doesn't necessarily protect him from being dealt. In fact, it probably elevates his chances of being moved.
