Even after the conviction of Derek Chauvin people on social media are continuing to spread disparaging lies about George Floyd. We have to do better. I hope to be one of the catalysts for change. If just by someone hearing how silly it sounds to repeat lies that can be easily disproven. Knowledge is power and we have to help educate the misinformed.

It's been difficult to realize how many cynics are out there making excuses after we all witnessed his murder. It truly saddens me when people have no sympathy or reduce him to criminal. This was a man who had people who loved him. There are no words to describe the hurt felt when people make light of what happened to him.

This was the second time I've been in Facebook jail 🤣😂 I can't be too upset. It is what it is.

I had a lengthy conversation about why I believe we should have stricter gun laws. Many people just believe the assertions that more gun laws don't bring down crime rates and that is far from the truth.

I have noticed throughout my experiences on social media how quickly conversations digress into personal attacks. Here's an example of how a bad conversations can be turned around if personal attacks aren't used to make a point.

I have been gravitating toward the posts in this specific Facebook group. It's been very interesting. They've been asking a lot of in depth questions. I just hope that as I support them they realize the importance of reciprocation.

I believe people need to show up more for each other. If WE as a community are working to become better, part of that is supporting one another and then reciprocating that support. That's the problem I had with a previous group and it's the problem I see in this current group. You can't ask me for my support them blatantly refuse to support me. Why support you if you have no plans on reciprocating...

I was so pissed when I saw the comment that a criminal was now a hero. I had to go in. Then when the commenter positioned George Floyd as having died of a drug overdose I just had to take him to school. It's what I do.

I had a visceral reaction to hearing Meghan's experiences within the royal family. It's sad, it's eye opening but it's also a testimony to how fear has played a role inside the closed doors of powerful people. They feed off of fear, they reign supreme because of fear and they cannot see themselves existing if they didn't continue to perpetuate fear.

I'm not sure why a woman would ever be positioned as weaponizing sex but every woman has the right to have sex when she feels loved and safe. In my opinion if a woman is withholding sex then it has a lot to do with men's behavior. Sometimes men need to catch a case of 'act-right' and I personally won't have sex with you if you don't know how to act. Periodt!👍🏾

I woke up very early to find a few people mentioning me in my Facebook notifications. So, I responded then I recorded this because it's progress in the grand scheme of things.

I had to set the record straight when I got another notification from a good friend that they accepted my invite to join that other group. I have to put my foot down about how I feel and I'm grateful for the support 💞

I took the time to listen to my episodes so I can assess what I've recorded so far. It's been eye opening to say the least. I'm committed to improving, learning and growing 💗 I look forward to my own transformation throughout this process and hope I can make an impact while working on making sure I don't leave any scars. Be patient with me as share my own growth.

Podcasting has been interesting so far. I'm learning where people stand on what I'm doing. I'm experiencing some growing pains. I'm working on developing a thicker skin. I guess when you really care about something you have to learn to fight for it.

I noticed a few posts today that seem to fall under the theme of accountability so I highlighted them today.

This second part includes when our conversation went off topic and we began talking about affirmative action.

So many people are creating funny memes on social media about the irony of Rush Limbaugh dying during black history month and white people are just not understanding.

If I didn't make this post that wouldn't be very honest. I don't believe people are discardable. I value every person I encounter and I do that because I do onto others as I would have others do onto me.

This one here has got me stumped. You just have to listen to even understand 🤔

Too often people use their speculation as weapons. Tessica Brown is a perfect example of why that's so wrong. She is a real person and seem to lose sight of that.

I have been saying this for over 20 years. It's the best philosophy I've ever had and I hope to help to impart that understanding to others.

I want to emphasize that my podcast is about conversations I have with people on social media. They are MY conversations and I am entitled to discuss them on my podcast because they involve me.
