First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage. Or so it used to be. Now we have trans drag shows for children, abortion to the point of birth, medical procedures to change boys into girls, CRT and radical LGBT ideology taught in most government schools across America. The media and politicians and celebrities tell us how amazing it is that our society has progress...

Yesterday there was a horrific act of evil in a school outside of San Antonio Texas in Uvalde at a small elementary school. At this point at least 19 students were killed and at least 2 teachers. Apparently, the shooter was killed by a Border Patrol agent who happened to be in the area. This is an act of incredible evil and I want to mourn with those that mourn. I am a father and the idea of my ch...

Representative Alexandria Occasio Cortez, or AOC, is big mad about religious freedom in America, and actually, I kind of agree with her I agree that many faiths do not have the same definition of life as Christians. So which faith is correct? And what does that mean for me? Barna Study from Cultural Research Center https://www.arizonachristian.edu/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/AWVI2022_Release05_Digi...

While the SBC is now embroiled in a new scandal regarding clergy sexual abuse another study comes out that finds 132 teachers and aides have been arrested THIS YEAR on sexual abuse charges. 132. THIS YEAR. Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi is denied communion because of her abortion stance. And finally - Is monkeypox the new C0v1D? I'm Matt Odegaard, and this is ChurchPublic -- Thanks for watching! A Christian Academy in Louisville Kentucky is in trouble for teaching Christian values straight from the Bible about sexuality and loving your neighbor. The Disinformation board has been suspended for ... disinformation. And Happy belated Mother's Day, especially to those churches singing to "mother god" Welcome to Church Public! "When men stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing; they believe in anything." GK Chesterton. This observation by Chesterton, an English theologian at the turn of the 1900s, gives a great view of current culture. Denominational church has declined steadily and rapidly in the last years with more and more identifying as "Spiritual but not Religious."  I started...

Today we are looking at why a middle schooler in Wisconsin was charged with sexual harassment for saying a true thing. Then we will go to Florida, where a pastor decided to host a drag queen show for children in a church.  Yes, we live in crazy town and I'm here to help try and bring back some reality. -- Thanks for watching! I see the polarization of America speeding up day by day. People cannot talk anymore. And this is creating two opposite camps. One camp ignores all the issues. I have heard many people say something like this, "I don't want to know what is going on. It is just to frustrating or emotional, or scary, so I just ignore everything." The other camp engages but is overly aggressive. This p...

Biden said, ‘I believe the rights that I have, not because the government gave them to me, which you believe, but because I’m just a child of God, I exist.' For once, I agree with Biden.  You are a child of God and you exist.  Therefore, based on the Bible, morality, and even biology, the conclusion should be, I don't have a right to arbitrarily kill you. Instead, Biden and the leftist d...

This is My Body my choice. This is the religious mantra of the leftist death cult. You are currently hearing it all over America in protest of the possibility of losing access to killing a baby any time for any reason. And this mantra is the exact opposite of Christianity. Jesus says, this is my body given up for you. The left says, this is your body given up for me. "While they were eating,...

Late Monday night a draft decision was leaked to the press and reported by Politico, a leftist media outlet. This decision concerns the Supreme Court case Mississippi v Dobbs regarding 15 week abortion ban legislation passed in 2018. The decision was written by Justice Samuel Alito with the effect of removing the precedent of Roe v Wade and the subsequent cases like Planned Parenthood v Casey. Doe...

Your Children are Belong to Me? Biden says that your children belong to the teachers, not to the parents? Is that really true? Is that right? We have given our children to Caesar and expected them to come back belonging to Christ. Now is the time. Train your child in the way they should go. Prov 22:6 Thanks for watching! The free speech battle We have an interesting convergence of stories today. On the one hand we have a tech billionaire who has driven the radical left crazy by forcing free speech on a social media site. Well, really, he hasn't done anything, but by the crazy, unhinged reaction by the media, celebrities, and randos on twitter, you'd think he sat people in a chair and forced them to say t...

More and more I am coming across seriously weird stories of churches, pastors and now divinity schools claiming God is queer or non binary or gay or some such nonsense. So, reluctantly I feel the need to wade into the heresy and try and figure out what in the kingdom of God is going on. Why? I know you are asking why. Why does this matter? I don't go to these churches. I don't serve unde...

Elon Musk offers to buy twitter and the entire left media conglomerate melts down. Over the past few years, more and more, the social media companies have been on a warpath to remove mis, dis and mal information from any platform that it exists including and maybe most prevalently twitter. On the other side of the coin, free speech absolutists have argued for free speech all the time no matter wha...

Today on Church Public: China bans "Christ" You can now select "X" on your passport. One supporter of Gender X says,  "It's great news!"  "We can just be ourselves"  "We don't have to lie to get our passports" ??? This all leads us to the Great State Separation, or so I'm calling it. Fasting Whiteness for Lent?!?! A church in Illinois is fasting Whiteness for lent. Lent, the practice of giving something up to become more like Jesus. Lent, the practice of following in Jesus footsteps as he walked through the desert without food or water for 40 days. Lent, the remembrance of Jesus fasting for 40 days then being tempted by the Devil before beginning his ministry. This church is f...

Hey everyone! 2000 years ago, Jesus entered Jerusalem and while the people really expected a Messiah, nobody was ready for what happened next. Many of you sang and shouted Hosanna on Sunday which are the very words that were shouted in celebration of Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem some 2000 years ago. We are going to recount that story as well as some of the journey of Jesus so that we can u...

In 1837 Hans Christian Anderson published a short story about an emperor who was so vain that he needed the very best in formal attire. He heard of these incredible artisans who could craft the most beautiful clothing ever created. There was just one catch. ONLY those who were worthy could see the clothes. If you are not worthy it is because you were either a bad person or you were just exceedingl...

We MUST talk about Bruno! Because Bruno is Jesus? While Disney doubles down to make the entire establishment super duper woke and not just accepting but belligerently Pro LGBTQ#$%^ the Gospel Coalition, an ostensibly Christian publication has NOTHING on Disney's outright assault on children and families. You know, children and families, the whole point of Disney.  Meanwhile, the number one tr...

In Finland a politician tweeted Romans 1:24-27 and was charged with hate speech. There has been an extensive court battle and on Wednesday, the court ruled that while the Bible passage was "partly offensive, it was not hate speech." In a related case, a Finnish Bishop published a pamphlet with the title "Male and Female He Created Them" from Genesis 1:27 and faced dozens and do...
