ccMixter (remix)

Some people drink alcohol or take substances. I'm just hooked on music. Thanks to Javolenus for another inspiring guitar piece and to Gabriel for his ukelele work

Inspired by and contains sounds from "I N F I N I T Y // s u k d u l a n."

Music is such an Invocational medium. I put pen to paper and finished this song before I knew what I was writing about. My mother passed away at the beginning of this year and she was suffering from dementia but died from a heart attack. I heard these beautiful chords and this is where it took me. Great playing Javolenus. Trying to keep my mind clear Holding visions of you dear Things just seem to...

After playing with music I thought I would revisit my 2020 remix of Kara Square inspiring and thought provoking lyrics. After several refinings I remixed by hand this track. I hope the use of lyrics rather than vocals is ok. Prompt: heavy metallic sounds, hammers on anvil, machine whirring, analog synth, sawtooth and sine wave drone 50-90hz, vocoder robot voice intro, deadpan female vocals, heaven...

Clearly some AI assistance here but not online I will add....and Radioontheshelfs sample created the cello line. My additional lyrics based on the potatoes :-) An original 16 bar edit Ai'd and then recomped with the original vocal. Interesting times.

So I waited a few hours to upload this as at the exact same time 12 months ago, 29th Sep 2025 I was on an operating table having heart surgery, that should have been successful. However after a 7 hour procedure and in ICU recovery there was a major problem so they did it again under emergency. My survival since has been brutal and hard but honestly down to a few people close to me, who stuck by an...

Well. This was right up my street. I dig the vibe and the ccmixter interplay. Great tune MWIC. Here's my version of your superb lyrics.

Really good vocals and talented writer. Mykleanthony ;)~

Well, This is my first crack at this lovely tune from Admiral Bob. Great tune. Very catchy, I'm still singing it around the house. Mykleanthony ;)~

Thought Madam Snowflake and Javolenus would be a great pair for a promo mix!

Do *not* give mwic a Vocoder; he will immediately overdo it like crazy.

Walt Whitman the great American poets response to the death of Abraham Lincoln. O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done, The ship has weatherd every rack, the prize we sought is won, The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring; But O heart! heart! heart! O the bleeding drops of red, Where on the deck my Captain...

I was feeling this haunting melody. So here's what I heard. Amazing as always Madam...... Mykleanthony;)~

Hello CCMixter. Whenever I hear a Songboy & Loveshadow colab. I always feel compelled to get involved. Here's my take on this incredible vocal. Thanks Both

Book of Changes To my deep regtret i sort of forgot this accapella from Susan, which i challenged her to do, for about ten years ago when i still worked under the Platinum Butterfly name. So it took me a long while before i got to this. Through circomstances that time i was in i completely forgot, but others have used it, so it wasn't wasted time. I came up on this via another track which i saw wh...

No Mixter Left Behind! Thank you for being patient, Darkroom. It's a bit rushed, but I hope it finds favour.

hello beauties! xx to one of my most favourite soundscape creators, 7OOP3D!!! Been practising their track called Cold Current as I feel that female vocals on this track would sound incredible as a juxtaposition to the bassier elements and I swear, it was sounding SUPER SUBLIME!!! :P :P however: I was meant to record vocals but as faith, fate and luck would have it; cough has somehow found me on my...

I got this lyric ready -- with its shoutout to the 30th anniversary of DJ Shadow's "Why Hip Hop Sucks in '96" -- hoping to get a matching-enough assignment. Well, if you want sources with the dense, layered texture of instrumental trip-hop, there probably isn't anyone better you could draw than BB. And *so* *many* stems! But then you run into a snag: you have to know what you're doing to really ge...

Remix of SO SHA for summer 2026 Mixtermorphosis Secret Mixter. While listening to SO SHA's samples, I kept coming back to phrases from GHOSTS. Then, background vocals, vocal chops, and instrumental parts came together organically from other SO SHA samples. I added additional supporting instrumental parts, while wanting to keep SO SHA's samples as the prominent themes.

Thank you to Stefan Kartenberg for sharing so many incredible stems to the Mixterverse. And thank you to Javolenus for your inspiring acoustic guitar contributions. You're both so inspiring! p.s. Here are the vocal stems if you're interested. WORDS When everything is too fucking much So youre faced with a choice You can bury your head deep in the sand Or you can recover your voice Ooo... When noth...
