Boy Meets World Fever

Malgams and Hundred and School Plays! Oh my! Join us this week as we get a glimpse of what Kamen RIder Gotchard could have (and maybe should have) been. Also, Mad Rex makes his debut and it spells trouble for Bun Red and the team, but will the addition of Genba as Bun Orange be able to tip the scales in the Boonboomger's favor?

Sometimes, things have a way of working out in a way you never expected. Fortune. Luck. Kismet. Serendipity. It can be good, it can be bad. Sometimes, through some back alley channels, you find yourself in possession of something you never thought imaginable, like the unaired first pilot of Boy Meets World. Now that's something. Join the Boys today as we take a walk down the route 66 of memory lan...

Times they are a boonboom changin'! We are back with more Gotchard (maybe peak Gotchard) as the Kitchen Ichinose Alliance has a major showdown with Geryon and the Abyssal Sisters as the evil plan is unfurled and the Kamen Rider Dread gets even more cool forms. New Riders (for some reasons) and new suits galore this week. Also, Boonboomger continues its hot streak (can three episodes be a hot strea...

Henshin! We are here with a surprise episode covering episode 25 of Kamen Rider Gotchard, which we assumed to be the end of an arc, but was it? Iron Gotchard gets down to business fighting WarpTera and Kamen Rider Dread Unicon (the sickest suit in the whole show) and the secrets of Minato's past are revealed...maybe...is that it? Time will tell. ---also--- BoonBoomChange! The first two episodes of...

Henshin! We are back and better than ever (or as healthy as ever) with 3 new episodes of Kamen Rider Gotchard to talk about this week, but first, Digimon talk? This week we look at the two part episode covering the curious Chemy, Zukyumpire, and the fact that everyone seems surprised that a vampire Chemy would do vampirey things. We also cover episode 24, the recap episode that is so much more. He...

Well friends, you never saw it coming. Unless you have listened to the show for even 5 minutes before and knew what huge nerds we are. Today, the Boys wrap up their planned Boy Meets World CWesque reboot with a banger of a final season. It is Persona X Boy Meets World like you never expected. There is magic. There is Mayhem. Millie, Mr. Mack (a Minkus variant obviously), and Topanga's long lost si...

Sometimes in life, you do something for four years straight and then its over and you need some time to talk about it. Join us today as we decompress a little and look over the highs and lows, the surprises and disappointments of having a Boy Meets World podcast. We also rank the seasons and are a bit surprised how we felt after 4 years.

Sorry for our prolonged absence. Sickness and travel always are a kicker this time of year. But we are back with you today and we come bearing fruit. Not one, but two new Kamen Riders joining forces with Gotchard as he fights against Geryon and the Abyssal Sisters to save the Chemies. Join us this week as we cover episodes 18-21, witnessing the birth of Burning Gotchard, Kamen Rider Majade, and Ka...

Sometimes you make a pledge in haste and it really comes back to bite you in a major way. Here on Boy Meets World Fever, we made just such a pledge, a pledge to no sleep until we consumed babka, that delicious Jewish baked good that Eric and Jack try to use to get the Dean to give them an extension on their first paper. We did our not sleeping. 708 days of it. And now we may rest. The result of th...

You're the best around? It is hard to say. After a contentious time with season 7 of Boy Meets World, the Boys have brought in some real experts, Alden and Tawnya Bair from Boy Meets Girl Meets Boy Meets World, to help them sort through the cruft and find the true episode that can be called "The Best Around." It is a tall task but everyone is up for the challenge.

Girl you know we belong together I don't have no time for you To be playing with my heart like this You'll be mine forever baby You just wait We belong together And you know that I'm right Why do you play with my heart? Why do you play with my mind? Said we'd be forever Said it'd never die How could you love me and leave me And never say goodbye? When I can't sleep at night Without holding you tig...

Some TV finales are great, like M*A*S*H. Some TV finales are bad, like How I Met Your Mother (sorry Mike). Some are just puzzling, like this one. Boy Meets World meets the end of the line with part 1 of a 3 part finale that bids farewell to one of the best characters on the show as Angela says her farewells to Shawn and the gang before going to Europe with her father. Be sure to follow our instagr...

New Year, New Chemies, Same Podcast Buddies! After a bit of a break, the Kamen Rider Gotchard coverage continues, with not 1, not 2, but 3 new episodes being talked about today. Things get weird as UFO-X makes another appearance, giving us the silliest Gotchard suit yet, but not if X-Rex has anything to say about it as Super Gotchard X-Rex also makes an appearance to square off with Kamen Rider Dr...

As Boys Meets World continues its strange march into the series finale, so too are we following like the lemmings we are. (In reality, lemmings do not actually all throw themselves to their deaths, that we nature documentarians trying to make things more exciting for the viewers at home (capitalism baby!) but I digress.) This week, we watch possibly the strangest episode of Boy Meets World since C...

Do you ever think about things that you have to do in the future and feel paralyzed at the thought of having to eventually do that thing and then once you do it you realize it wasn't as bad as you were expecting? I don't think there is a word for it but it certainly would not be used here. The Boys, along with long time guest HiFiMike, finally made it to the one they have been dreading all this ti...

Did you know roughly 800 out of 100,000 Americans are named Joseph or some variation of that. There have got to be some stinkers in a sample size that large. This week, in addition to covering the classic(?) episode "How Cory and Topanga Got Their Groove Back" (which is the leader for the longest title of the season), the Boys also go down a list of famous Joe's and determine who can hang (Joe Man...

Despite all evidence to the contrary that a sitcom can't really speak well to issues such as weight and body image, Boy Meets World really goes for the fences in "She's Having My Baby Back Ribs" and the results are...not as bad as we were expecting. Join the Boys as they rewatch a not so classic season 7 episode full of pizza, waffles, six pack abs, thinly veiled references to the nature of Jack a...

Things finally come to a head this week on Kamen Rider Gotchard and we are here for it! The Abyssal Sisters plan is revealed and things start to pop off as Gotchard moves into its second arc. Chemies galore and a new Rider make for an eventful two episodes that retroactively make the rest of the season better.

It is the day of day of day of days! The high holiday of Chance's people. It's Time Loop Day baby! Let us bask in the warmth of our hearts and hearths as we gather round the warm glow of the television with our comfiest pants and tastiest breakfast burritos and enjoy the celebration of self improvement through time displacement. This year, we are taking the celebration international as we watch th...

The gang is on location this week as they go to Kyoto for their school trip. It all goes awry when Clotho releases not one but two violent criminals to become Malgams to try and take down Geats. Also Kijiki falls in love.

We are back!!!!! Join the Boys and their old pal Kyle Thomas as they finally talk about what we say in the title of the show, Boy Meets World. Things get funny and then serious as an ever escalating prank war (can you call three total pranks a war?) takes a turn for the worse as Cory and Shawn take it too far, threatening the very fabric of their friend group. There are time skips and honey pranks...

With negotiations between SAG AFTRA and the AMPTP continuing on for another week, so does our side show. This week, the Boys discuss Time Loop Day possibilities in a struck media environment. Can AMPTP finally give actors their due in time to save this most precious holiday? The Boys play a game. It does not go well. Cameron and Chance both bring anime shows to talk about this week in a wild momen...

We did an oopsie here at Henshin Fever and split a two parter. In order to avoid this horribly gauche mistake again, we are just covering one episode of Gotchard today, with episodes 9 and 10 coming in a future episode. Cameron gushes over Geats some more. Chance is deeply moved by Saber. We are also all in on Isaac the AI (Alchemist IPad).

As the AMPTP continues to drag their feet about paying actors their fair share and protect them from an AI future, we continue to talk about non-struck media. Chance quizzes Cameron about Five Nights at Freddy's lore. The Boys review 1989 (Taylor's Version) Chance has a new show. Cameron brings a favorite mobile game and Chance falls into a world of pure imagination.

The strikes continue and so do we. Look for the Union Label! Is anybody behind us my Shawn? After a cold open that went on too long about Croc Charms and Under the shirt suspenders, the Boys get down to business (to defeat the Huns). Cameron discusses his favorite way to play Pokemon and a video series that does it. Chance is Batman.
