Boxing Beats

Not only is it AJ v Fury officially on, Dana White isn't involved and the press conference, well it was a bit weird wasn't it? Max Kellerman was the wrong man for the job, Dua Lipa doesn't like Turki, AJ held an impromptu 60 second silence and what belt was Turki holding up? It definitely wasn't the WBA. Elsewhere the Surgeon, Ben Whittaker returns this weekend against the most Iri...

While we listen to the latest excuse for the AJ Fury fight not happening, Pat Brown gets rid of John Hedges, Hamza Sheeraz drops his WBO belt and Eubank v Benn 3 is looking increasing likely.

Ryan Garcia dispatches Conor Benn with ease and leaves Nigel's son in no mans land. It was the moment the whole of the UK had been waiting for. The hype job got exposed in a bad way. It leaves Conor Benn with very little in terms of options. It's looking Like Chris Eubank Jr might be getting a phone call very soon for the trilogy that nobody wants to see.

It's D day for Conor Benn, he will finally be fighting an opponent with a pulse that isn't weight drained. Has he got the skills to take King Ry's belt? The bookies don't think so, but do we think he's got a chance? Elsewhere the inactive Andy Ruiz takes a beating at the hands of Damian Knyba. Is it curtains for the big lad? And is Ben Davison vindicated after the leaked corner...

Did Moses just run out of gas? Who is to blame for his catastrophic defeat? Frank Warren? Ben Davison? Or was it just a brilliant game plan from Filip Hrgovic and Abel Sanchez? We go deep on the fight and try and work out what went wrong.

Moses Itauma takes on Filip Hrgovic this weekend and the bookies don't fancy big Filip one bit. Is it really going to be a walk in the park for Moses or is Hrgovic a giant Croatian banana skin? Elsewhere Eddie Hearn is getting annoyed with the Fury AJ renegotiations and the fight is losing relevancy by the day.

Moses Itauma is on the brink of becoming a world champion. Only granite faced Filip Hrgovic stands in his way. Meanwhile Frank Sanchez takes a wedge of cash to step aside. We also take a look at last weekends boxing, what a performance from Mark Chamberlain.

It was meant to be a formality but it all went wrong, Fury looked disappointing but AJ was almost wiped out by a complete unknown. Does this leave the AJ v Fury fight in tatters or does anyone even care anymore?

Both Fury and AJ are fighting bums this weekend. They should just scrape through these fights and set up the super fight that we all wanted 10 years ago. Or maybe Prenga and Wach will win and set up an entirely different fight. Doubt it.

Shakur Stevenson signs with Zuffa but who is he going to fight? Meanwhile Tyson Fury sinks to a new low and names Mariusz Wach as his next opponent. Turki wants the AJ Fury fight to be in the middle of the night or in the US. What a joke.

Usyk has done it, he's given the belts up. That means we're about to get some really weak heavyweight champions. We talk about all the permutations and review Boots' win over Zayas and Ben Whittaker's latest stoppage.

Billam-Smith put's Rozicki's chin through the ringer and comes out oon top. Elsewhere we get excited (not really) for Tommy Fury v Eddie Hall.

Rico almost did it, he almost stunned the boxing world but Usyk does the job, with an early intervention from the referee. We drill into the fight and the undercard.

The rumble in the jungle, the p*sstake in front of the pyramids is more like it. Usyk takes on Rico but the undercard is looking very good. We also review Allen v Hrgovic which was a total washout.

What a night! Daniel Dubois gets off the canvas to stop Fabio Wardley in an absolute thriller. We discuss the fight and talk about whether the rematch is likely to happen or not.

It's the big one this weekend, the hard hitting Daniel Dubois challenges the hard hitting Fabio Wardley. Someone is getting decked. We also talk about Inoue and Benavidez's wins from last weekend.

Yes it might be 5 years too late, but AJ v Fury is definitely happening. Probably. This week we talk Big Baby Miller, who the hell is Prenga? And all about the monsters fighting this weekend as Inoue and Benavidez are both involved in good fights.

If we said Okolie pops, you might be thinking he's burst. But no, Okolie has tested positive for, well, something that he shouldn't have and now his dull fight against Tony Yoka is off. Elsewhere Ben Whitakker suddenly has power in his fists but when will the competition step up? And finally, we review all the fights we missed over the past few weeks.

Could Chisora Wilder be an absolute stinker? We think it might be. We also talk about Moses Itauma's dominant win over Jermain Franklin and whether he's ready for Usyk.

Yes he's supposed to give Itauma rounds but it's not going to happen. Franklin is overrated and out of shape. Elsewhere we look at Big John Fury's fallout with Tyson and the Zuffa/Sky Sports deal.

Is AJ back? Maybe, and he might be fighting Dillian Whyte. Meanwhile Cacace gets another win while we brace ourselves for the upcoming heavyweight fights.

Usyk is fighting a kickboxer, Conor Benn is fighting a 37 year old 140lb fighter at 150lbs and Frank is trying to sue Turki. Still at least it's something to talk about while there are hardly any fights on.

It was a great weekend of boxing that was completely overshadowed by Conor Benn signing a deal with Zuffa. We talk about this and review last weekend's fights including Wood v Warrington 2, Barrios v Garcia, Dave Allen knocking out a bum and Bilal Fawaz beating Ishmael Davis.

John Fury isn't happy with Carl Froch, he's so angry that he can't even see him. Elsewhere we've got Barrios v Garcia, Wood v Warrington 2, Dave Allen is back and Leo Atang has his second fight of 2026.

Nick Ball loses his world title against a very impressive Brandon Figueroa, elsewhere Daniel Dubois gets a title shot directly after taking a beating at the hands of Usyk. What is going on??
