What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than with some Turkey...Wild Turkey.  And what better person to celebrate with than Jimmy Russell.  Well, don't have Jimmy (or Eddie) but we have the next best thing in David Jennings. David is a Wild Turkey "super fan" and the authority on all things Wild Turkey.  Drew and Kevin taste three different Wild Turkey expressions with David and d...

We love to have as guests the musicians and distillers who are working their butts off trying to make in their field. They always have the passion about what they are doing.   That is definitely true this week as we have a band called Sweet Lady as our guests.  Blue Williams (guitar/vocals), Boomer Purcell (bass) and Jordan Simpson (drums) are the trio that make up Sweet Lady.  This is a high ener...

Before we aired the first episode of Bourbon Turntable and we were making our "wish list" of guests, one of the first names on that list was Nancy Fraley.  In this two-part episode, we think you'll see why we wanted her on the show so badly.   In part one, we talk with Nancy about how she became "The Nose", because every superhero has an origin story, right? She also walks...

The "band" on the show includes Evan Sams (evansamsmusic.com) Kevin Niehoff ( @Kevin...

Brian Haara is an attorney, a whiskey enthusiast and the author of "Bourbon Justice".  Brian's book tells the story of bourbon through the history of the legal system.  So much of what we know about pre-prohibition bourbon is based on court records from lawsuits.  It seems big-time distillers aren't a bit shy about arming themselves with lawyers (then or now). We talk with Bria...
