Have you ever felt like people do not want you to outwardly praise and worship the Lord? Even in church, many times "religious folks" do not want any type of outward expressions of praise and worship. They even get upset if someone comes forward at the end of the service for salvation or healing. If anyone has ever tried to silence you, then please take encouragement from a man by the na...

Rivalries can be quite explosive. Two teams (or two fanbases) that oppose each other often or that live in close proximity to each other often become rivals because of their familiarity with each other. They want to beat each other badly. This can be fun and good natured, but it can also be destructive. A rivalry may be fine on a football or baseball field, but it has no place in the church. All C...

Wealth is something that just about everyone would love to have. This may surprise you, but the Lord has no problem with us becoming wealthy. The issue is when our pursuit of wealth causes us to walk away from Jesus. In this episode, we learn from Jesus some important lessons on wealth and the pursuit of wealth from His encounter with the rich young ruler, who walked away from Jesus and eternal li...

The most important event in human history is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without the resurrection of Jesus there would be no salvation of souls. No forgiveness of sins. No redemption for fallen humanity. The truth of the resurrection has sustained many attacks over the years with many objections from non-believers, skeptics, and academic elites that do not hold up under scrutiny. Join me tod...

They are close to the truth, but when they find out what serving Chrost really means, they walk away sad. Sad because they do not want to make the sacrifices in their lives necessary to be a follower of Jesus. If we wil...

Disclaimer: The subject matter of this episode contains material that is of a sensitive nature. In this episode, I deal with the issue of infant salvation. Do babies who die go to heaven? That is the question I deal with in this episode. If you have been affected by the death of a child, then please know that your baby is in heaven. I explain this position from a biblical perspective that I pray b...

One of Satan's biggest targets is the family. Satan tries to attack families every day through divorce as he seeks to leave a trail littered with broken marriages and destroyed families. When asked what He thought about divorce, Jesus made it known that God's standard for marriage is between one man and one woman for life. Anything outside this boundary is forbidden and is therefore sin, including...

The doctrine of hell is one of the most controversial and rejected teachings of the Bible. The warnings against going to hell are many, and Jesus calls us to get rid of the things that cause us to sin. Instead, of rejecting the doctrine of hell, it is important to understand it so we can effectively lead people away from sin and to Christ. Join us in this episode as we take a look at one of the cl...

Mountaintop experiences are wonderful when we have them. The view is wonderful and the air is crisp and fresh. However, the majority of our lives is spent in the valley, where the conditions are hot and dry. Jesus' own disciples were no exception to a lack of understanding about important biblical matters. In this episode, we are going to take a look at an issue that confused Jesus' disciples as well as modern believers today. Join me as we take a look at the connection between John...

In one of the most amazing events in the Bible, Jesus met with Moses and Elijah on a mountain to discuss His upcoming death and resurrection. Peter, James, and John were eyewitnesses of this event, and they were nearly knocked over after seeing the curtain pulled back that veiled His divine glory. This is the same Jesus who died for our sins and rose from the dead. Remember that Jesus has been to...

Commitment to Christ is essential for salvation and growth in the Lord Jesus. While no one is morally perfect, we can be forgiven of our sins if we will come to Christ in faith and repentance. Jesus is looking for people who will turn from the popular opinions of this world that reject and oppose Him. They do the "Hokey Pokey" and get themselves all dizzy and confused because they go fro...

Our spiritual vision is something that the Lord is very concerned with. The Holy Spirit is committed to teaching and guiding us so we can learn of Christ and follow Him. This week's episode takes a look at a man who was blind but healed. His healing did not come instantly, however, as Jesus showed that our understanding does not come in an instant. In order to follow Christ and serve Him, we m...

Many people today want to see a sign from God that the claims of the Bible are true. This is not pleasing to the Lord, however, because He has already given us all the evidence and information that we need to believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Scripture has been backed up by mounds of evidence that show who Christ is. Seeking God is certainly a good thing, but demanding signs from Him...

People often get caught up in outward appearances. They focus on their behavior instead of their holiness. They spend more time on their image than they do their heart. One of the ways they try to impress others is through religious tradition. However, religion itself will never make anyone right with God. What we all need in order to go to heaven is the righteousness of God, not the religion of m...

Thousands of Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered in Nigeria. Please join me in prayer for the protection and safety of these dear believers.

Traditions are a fun way to celebrate certain occasions and events. Families and friends love to get together and enjoy a variety of traditions. However, religious tradition that takes away from or overrides God's Word is not something we should participate in. This is exactly what the Pharisees of Jesus' time did. They put burdens on people's backs that they could not hold up under. L...

Sometimes it seems like we are rowing against the wind and make little to no headway. In those times, we can take comfort in knowing that we are never out of God's sight or out of His presence. He will show up in unexpected ways in unexpected times. As we walk with Christ, we go through very difficult circumstances. We can have peace, however, knowing that Christ will see us through, even if H...

Opportunities abound for those who desire to serve the Lord. There are many things that we cannot do, but there is nothing too difficult for the Lord. As Christians, let us always seek ways to be an extension of His grace to people who have great needs that only the Lord can fulfill. He...
