THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK Candice and Chrissy wrap up the octopus book and realize they have been misjudging this book for an entire year! Some things discussed- - Why didn't Cameron look for his mom? Or write off Tova as "too weird to be related to me"?? - Is taking care of others a burden? - Why is Cameron a man-child? - Do we wish more questions were answered? - How is Avery okay...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK "You're a serial killer, Ada!" In the biggest twist yet, Queen Freida ends the Housemaid series with the most normal book yet. No rocket ships, no Millie murders, and no razzle dazzle. We talk lots about things that didn't work for us in this book (why did we know nothing about the important characters??), some things we wished happened instead (Janice s...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK In a bittersweet moment, the sisters start the last (??) book in the Housemaid Millie Saga!! About 95% of the pod references our Killy Milly theory. If you want to brush up on that theory (or are new to the pod), check out the beginning of The Housemaid Wedding to catch up! As Killy Milly leaves her original host and descends on (Nico? Janice? Martha? Someone else?!), Mil...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK The ladies are BACK to Queen Freida! We're starting with book 2.5 (or 3.5, depending on when you read it), before we cover The Housemaid's Secret next week. It's a short story but we still have lots to say about it! Covered in this episode: Recap of our Killy Milly theory that explains the entire series (and possibly The Perfect Divorce, too. *NOTE- some spoil...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK Before getting into the tragic story of Harry Potter, the sisters dig into the tragic life of Candice's math-quiz interview. After judging poor interviewing techniques, the girlies judge JK Rowlings Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone cover - of which they give high praise. After 30 or so minutes the sisters finally 'get into it' as they pick up with H...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK Candice and Chrissy return to the childhood classics with the first Harry Potter book by J. K. Rowling! We know there's not a lot of content out there for HP so we did our due diligence in leaving no (sorcerer's) stone unturned. Some of the questions discussed include... Who's worse, Dudley or Malfoy? How did Dumbledore drop Harry off to his evil relatives and...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK Candice and Chrissy finish The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose! We talk all things Killy Milly Morgan, including: - Do we love that she is pure demon, or is it too much? - Will Alejandro be her next victim, or are they going to go into the murder business together Millie-Enzo style (a la Housemaid)? - Where did all of Bob's brain cells go, and why was his plan Dance Da...

In an effort to build their 3 month stock-pile, the Bookalicious girlies speed-recap Jeneva Rose's The Perfect Divorce. More plot holes from book one are covered up by Sheriff Hudson who asks questions 11 years too late. The sisters postulate new theories with their favorite centering around the very forgettable assistant-turned-manager Anne & her suspiciously absent gender neutral spouse...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK The Bookalicious Sisters roll right in to Jeneva Rose's latest thriller, The Perfect Divorce. We pick up with Bob & Sarah one year into their marriage in a meeting with their divorce lawyers! Knowing this book is about the worst people, we have several bads and possibly 1 (or 2??) BIG BAD resulting in the pages turning slower than The Perfect Marriage. The sisters...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK Candice and Chrissy wrap up The Perfect Marriage- Chrissy is distressed at the injustice and Candice loves the kookiness of the story. We ask all of our questions like: Is this the ending we wanted? How did no one question all the conflicts of interests in this case? Why is everyone in this town evil? And, was Sarah possessed by the spirit of Killie Millie and will there...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK In a stunning turn, Chrissy's seemingly off-the-wall #1 suspect (Sarah's mystery mister) makes an appearance in a strange ghostly sexcapade while Candice is distraught as her well-thought out theory of Matthew as the killer starts to unravel. Sarah makes moves to investigate Kelly's creepy stalker, while Adam employees a rando from the street claiming to be a...

We put on our detective hats to unravel the juicy murder mystery in The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose! Chrissy has watched at least 100 hours of Suits and Candice is an expert on all things Law and Order: SVU, so we feel pretty ready to crack this case. We share our leading theories on who dunnit, recap the characters, and ask all of our questions like: Why is everyone okay with all this conflic...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK We start this episode reviewing all the ways Fey Fey is cray cray, but then end the episode admitting that SJM worked her magic and we're totally hooked on the story. We discuss Feyre's rage texts, whether we need Amarantha to come back to keep everyone in check, how the human queens are really the Real Housewives of Human World, and our conundrum that Lord Hybern...

THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK It's part two of ACOMAF and part 100000 of Fey's insufferable antics. We talk all about the Weaver a la Hansel and Gretel, red flag or deal breaker with our guy Rhys, Nesta's role as (evil villain? secret queen? our favorite character?), the gang's summer vacation to the beach, and Fey's ungrateful feet for her reading lessons. We had a lot of fun with...
