God’s purpose continues to march on, as Jewish families persist in their efforts to change facts on the ground in the mountains of Israel.

The return to the promised land has had a massive impact on the Jewish people. Reconnecting to their ancient land and language has helped to develop a Bible centred culture. It often seems that wherever one digs into the soil of the holy land, it becomes an archaeological site! One example of this phenomena, of the land of Israel bringing us to the Bible, appeared on the Israel HaYom news site rec...

During the last two weeks the UK has seen the world’s elite leaders fly in and out of Scotland. They have been congregating in Glasgow as the UK has been hosting the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26). Royalty, presidents, former presidents, prime ministers, ministers, senators and the great and the good from industry and business have all descended on Scotland to give...

This past week the elections in the US, and concerns raised north of the boarder on what books are being removed from public school libraries, have shined the light on a progressive agenda to indoctrinate our children with radical views on race and identity. When we look at what is behind these issues we find an agenda in conflict with the truth of God's word. The real issue is human nature. God w...

Halloween is a celebration of death and the Western world are gearing up for it. Pumpkins are being carved, the shops are full of scary masks and fake blood, children are planning their trick or treat costumes and households are buying in   to give to “trick or treaters”. In all this commotion we stop to consider what the Bible might have to say about the ideas behind the cel...

Europe is being held hostage by Russia with the unfolding energy crisis that is gripping the world. The Bible clearly indicates that Europe will be under Russia's control, and by weaponizing the gas supply, Russia appears to be achieving its objectives.

With the Withdrawal Agreement, still less than two years old, relations between the newly independent Britain and the EU are already showing signs of strain. As Bible believers, we expect from prophecy that the UK and EU will not have close relations at the time of the end.

On September 22, the UK Telegraph had the headline: "Putin’s iron grip on energy leaves Europe increasingly vulnerable”. The article began by noting that, "Vladimir Putin has his finger hovering over Europe’s light switch.” The article then goes on the explain that typically over the summer the Russian company Gazprom pumps a lot of gas into Europe’s storage facilitie...

Taking the world by surprise Australia, Britain, and the United States have announced a new trilateral security partnership of historic like minded nations.  Although it was not mentioned in the announcement this move counters the unpredictable nature of China and Russia.  The first task of this new partnership is to arm Australia with nuclear powered submarines making them only the seve...

Today, the 11th day of the 9th month, is the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that shocked the world. As a result, news outlets across the globe are running stories marking the anniversary, remembering the victims, reflecting on the changes of the last 20 years, many commenting on the lack of progress. As political leaders pay tribute to those who died, everyone who remembers thinks back...

Eze 38:11 ' And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates'.   The Abraham Accords brought a seismic geopolitical shift in the region that could be seen as a building block for an acceptance of Israel in the Middle East. Here are some reflection...

The tragedy in Afghanistan is horrific, but a greater geopolitical move is going on behind the scenes. This week we continue our review of the US withdraw from Afghanistan, but also the entire region, and Russia's resurgence in the same area, setting the stage for the latter day invasion of the Middle East.

The United States has made a chaotic exit from Afghanistan leaving allies feeling betrayed, US and other civilians in great danger, and what appear to be or become paradigm-shifting changes in the world.

Why are the Jews so hated and what is it about the Jew which sparks such an outrage in people? Hello and welcome to another Bible in the News.

The attack on an Israeli owned tanker in the Persian Gulf, last week has emphasized once again the rivalry between Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel in this volatile region.

The concept of Jews being allowed to worship on the Temple Mount violates the "status quo" in Jerusalem at this point in time. Regardless of what politicians desire, this will soon be changed by the hand of Almighty God.

On July 12 it was reported that an artifact from the time of the judges had been discovered, with a fairly clear inscription of the name Jerubbaal! On July 14 it was announced that a segment of Jerusalem’s First Temple city wall had been uncovered!

The ugly past of Canada's residential schools have been in the headlines. What is not always recognized is the record of the Catholic Church in particular, with abuse and forced conversions. John Billington addresses these issues and explains their significance in light of Bible truth.

This week was an awkward one for the Catholic Church. In a show of power, the US Conference of Bishops voted overwhelmingly to deny communion to the nation’s second Catholic president, Joe Biden, due to his support of abortion, and in another embarrassment, hundreds of unmarked graves were discovered in Canada at residential schools that were run by the Church. These events are part of a big...

There are many empty homes in Arab West Bank houses, we investigate why.

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, the Apostle Paul warns the believers that there would be a falling away from the Gospel Truth, which they had been taught and had believed. In fact, he specifically says that this iniquity was already at work. This falling away or apostasy was restrained, but Paul says it would be revealed and would eventually be destroyed at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. This...

Tragically the worst violence in years has broken out in Israel between the Palestinians and the Israelis with Jerusalem being a focal point in the conflict. In today’s episode we look at this recent conflict in the light of Bible prophecy. Welcome to another Bible in the News.

The Peace agreement achieved by Donald Trump when President of the U.S. was short lived. The "Abraham Accords" brought together several Arab countries in an amazing peace deal with Israel which appeared to be fulfilling the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:14. " Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not kno...
