It's the season two finale! And just like the first season, we're ending it with a debate-style discussion on off the wall categories like 2000 cast remake and movie multiverse crossovers. For today’s episode, we’re joined by blogger movie critic Hans Martin Jr. to discuss the film Bruised (2020). Check out his blog at realmoviecritic.com and podcast show on certainpov.com (The Real Movie Critic vs The Cine-Guy).  We hold back no punches as we talk through the different fight movie tropes and cliches and the believability of Halle Berry’s skill as an MMA fighter. Plus we discov...

BMM Ep 26: Red Notice 07.12.2021

The movie Red Notice (2021) broke Netflix records for most streams as well as most expensive movie produced. In today’s episode, we analyze what each of the leading actors brought to the film-- the Rock’s ridiculous physique, Ryan Reynold’s comedic delivery, and well, Gal Gadot’s in it. We agreed this movie is a must-watch, but not for the reason you may think.

BMM Ep 25: King Richard (ft. Davis Wallace) 30.11.2021

For today’s episode, we invited Will Smith super fan aficionado Davis Wallace on to help us talk through the biopic King Richard (2021). We also rank where this movie falls among the great (and not so great) films in Will Smith’s catalog.

BMM Ep 24: Lovehard (ft. Monic & Jenelle) 23.11.2021

For today's episode, we invited guests Monic & Jenelle of "Is Marriage Worth It" podcast to discuss the Netflix movie Lovehard.  It's a romantic comedy with all the expected romcom antics. We discuss if the plot would work in real life and we tackle the question is Diehard a Christmas movie?

BMM Ep 23: The Harder They Fall 16.11.2021

In this episode we review The Harder They Fall (2021), a Western that happens to feature an all black cast. While the movie characters' stories are basic and historically inaccurate, it didn't stop some of us from having a great time watching.

BMM Ep 22: Army of Thieves 09.11.2021

In today's episode we review 2021's Army of Thieves currently streaming on Netflix. We discuss what qualities of a heist film genre could have been executed better as well as the missed opportunities for more zombies. Plus one of us has an existential crisis due to watching this movie.

BMM Ep 21: Dune 02.11.2021

In this episode, we tackle the film Dune (2021), out in theaters and HBO Max.  We all agreed that Dune is beautifully-captured with a phenomenal cast, but were split on whether we actually liked the movie. Some of the points of dispute were the lengthy runtime, the slow-burn approach to the plot progression, and the repetitious use of dream sequences.

In this week’s episode, we review There’s Someone Inside Your House (2021), a teen slasher film on Netflix. We discuss the movie’s homage to the classic 90’s horror genre, a few problematic plot points, and our better picks for the killer’s identity. Plus we get an explanation for the inaccurate, awkwardly long title of the film.

BMM Ep 18: The Guilty 12.10.2021

This week's episode, we're discussing the crime thriller The Guilty (2021) currently available on Netflix. We highlight Jake Gyllenhaal's stellar performance as an unlikable protagonist. Finally, listen to us pitch our wild alternate version of this film where Joe is the lead detective and also the criminal.

BMM Ep 17: Nightbooks 05.10.2021

This week's episode is on the family-friendly horror film (we didn't know that was a genre) Nightbooks available on Netflix. We discuss the tone and pacing as well as the personality of the lead characters. And since the movie is adapted from a book, we speculate what parts may have been better in the original form.

BMM Ep 16: Malignant 28.09.2021

In today's episode, we are discussing the horror film Malignant (2021) available currently in theaters and HBO Max. Audiences are divided on whether this movie is good, and we certainly have varying (maybe even surprising) opinions as well. Is it a cult classic in the making or is it just too ridiculous to be considered a good movie?

BMM Ep 15: Kate 21.09.2021

For this week's episode we review the movie Kate (2021), currently streaming on Netflix. We highlight some of the great action scenes within cool settings, but also point out how there are at least 9 other assassin/revenge type movies that follow the exact plot. The only unanswered question: where can we find that boom boom lemon drink?

We want to thank everyone that has supported us and...
