Bethel Choctaw

What if heaven isn’t merely your future destination, but your present assignment? As citizens of heaven, the church is called to embody Christ’s rule and reveal God’s Kingdom on earth—right here, right now.

What is standing in the way of your baptism? Baptism is not a declaration of perfection but a public expression of faith in a perfect Savior. If you have trusted Christ, leave fear and your past behind—and take the next step.

Are you still listening when God calls you to reach one person? Philip’s obedience shows that advancing the gospel is not about knowledge, crowds, or recognition—it’s about responding, running toward the rejected, sharing Jesus, and becoming Scripture in action.

What happens when hurt, envy, and resentment are allowed to take root in the heart? Bitterness poisons our perspective, damages relationships, and leads to spiritual bondage. But through grace, forgiveness, and Christlike love, we can pull the root before it destroys its fruit.

How can we tell what is truly from God when the counterfeit looks so convincing? Acts 8 teaches us to discern beyond appearances: false spirits exalt people and exploit desperation, while God’s Spirit exalts Christ, brings freedom, nourishes souls, and produces joy.

Trials reveal whether we follow God for His blessings or truly trust Him. While followers may leave when blessings disappear, disciples persevere through suffering. Hardship produces character and lasting hope, teaching us to stand firm, knowing Christ alone is enough.

All are welcome at the communion table.

When we look at the book of Acts we see a powerful move of God that was changing people by the multitudes. God's presence was surely among them and this was evident through all the signs and wonders taking place.

What kind of words are you saying to yourself about yourself, or your children, your family, your church, your job, etc.? Your words are to be "Life-Giving" words. The words that you speak will make you or break you. They will bless you or curse you. They will destroy you or give you life. They will keep you well or make you sick.

The best evidence for being "Spirit Filled," is seeing the Agape love of Christ in your life.

Courage isn't always about "winning" the race, but having the courage to continue when the track gets rough.

Acts 4:33-34 "And God's grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them."

"All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had."  Acts 4:32 Give when you can...Receive when you need!

Where does you treasure lie? Is it in Christ? Keith Fife shares with us the importance of keeping Jesus the center of our heart's affection.

Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

For the joy set before Him, He bore the cross.
