Back to The Bay

This week it’s not-so-decent proposals, missed scans, punches and divine brunches. The girls are taking a forced break for a few weeks, as RTE leave us on a cliffhanger! But not before they discuss the World Cup and Mariah Carey, Queen of Christmas. TM.

It’s been a great week in the Bay. Maria has strong opinions on the toxic pregnancy storyline. Fáinche has some strong opinions on the band. And they’re both obsessed with Heather! The wheels are coming off and it is great to watch. In Away from the Bay Maria gives the listeners what they asked for- a history of Aaron Carter. And Fáinche talks younger men.

After a week off, the girls have a lot to say. There’s been gaslighting, morning sickness, mismanagement and sexy displays of masculinity; just another regular week in the Bay! The new popular segment Away from the Bay is all about Love is Blind and Matt Hancock.

This week the girls are happier with the going’s on in the Bay. Crazy Heather, Drunk Cash, Manic Maz; what’s not to love. Oh wait, Lyrik. That’s what. Away from the Bay gets serious, with political opinions on heads of lettuce.

We prayed to the soap gods, and they answered, with Heather! Finally, we’ve had a good week, and we’re not done yet! Marilyn is on the edge, Cash is on the edge, and quite frankly- so are we! Away From the Bay is also the usual edge of your seat stuff from the world of celebs this week. Enjoy!

This week’s episode is a musical treat for the ears. Cash is disappearing before our eyes, while Lyrik are unfortunately not. Fáinche has a rant in Away from the Bay and Maria schools us on David Beckham’s favourite food.

This week the girls owe a lot to Maria’s sister, who came up with the greatest story title ever- Ziggy Cardust! The Bay has had some hospital dramas, some car dramas and some friendship dramas. On Away from the Bay, Strictly is back and Hilaria Baldwin is still Spanish.

We wanted some action in The Bay, and this week did not disappoint. A raid, a shooting, a cardiac arrest; we got it all! And Away from the Bay is jam packed with the usual ridiculousness too. Like, subscribe, etc!

This week we’ve had botched engagements, movie premieres, a missing person, death, crime and Diva’s. And only some of it has happened in the Bay. Join Fáinche and Maria as they chat about the week in soap world, as well as the real world soap opera we’re living in.

Welcome to Season Two! This week Fáinche and Maria will reminisce about the characters lost to the whims of the writers over the Summer months.  As well as the usual gabbing about recent plot lines, the girls are dabbling with a new segment this season entitled 'Away From The Bay', with the hope of indulging those who no longer watch H&A but are still massive fans of the show. 

It’s the season finale 😞 But there’s no time for sadness. This is a 21st birthday special and the girls have a live studio audience with them, who share some hilarious anecdotes and memories of 21st birthdays. Season 2 here we come!!

Episode 20 is all about hot couples, both on screen and off. Maria was inspired this week by the Davidoff-like scenes up at Stewart’s Point. Fáinche talks about the misogyny in The Bay.. nom, nom, nom!!! As always, like and subscribe.

Well! What a week it has been in Summer Bay! A brick to the back of the head, a car chase, a beautiful jail cell scene. It had it all. We even had a burial, albeit not in the shallow grave Maria had hoped for. As always, this episode is topped off with some trips down memory lane with our weekly Babe of the Bay and a touching tribute in In Memoriam. There’s something for everyone!
