Anime Pulse

We found it all and you guys get so much to listen to while Weltall is missing.

This week on Anime Pulse we got an exciting new member of the Vshojo cast, lame 5-year awards, and the dark side of idols. Up first Joseph is tanning things up after enjoying some Dave's Hot Chicken, and Andrew would like to know who our favorite angels in anime are. Then in the industry news a city gets rich after finding some cash in the trash, taking unwanted pictures of clothed individuals is...

Do we need to introduce this movie? The grand pappy of the summer tent pole film. The movie that made Spielberg a household name and helped launch a shift in the way movies were made. We bring a discussion of Jaws. If you read the book, you went into the movie wondering where the dicussion of small town politics was. Or maybe you missed the affair between Mrs Brody and Hooper. All of this chaff is...

This week on Anime Pulse we got Heroes of Might and Magic V, planning on how to kill your classmates, and Pokemon Cards are now banned to adults. Up first Joseph talks about finishing Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and starting the worst Heroes game ever, meanwhile Andrew has been traveling up and down and wants to know how we'd go about changing something in anime to make it better. Then in the industr...

More ventures into the æther found more lost episodes. What better for while Weltall is in Japan.

It’s been a bit since we did a request. What will we choose using our incredible randomization process? The Last Unicorn. The book was written in the late sixties and has a lot of elements of a classic fairy tale. Having somewhat vague magic, ancient kings, curses, and romance. The movie cuts quite a bit, including the rather important harpy tits dangling all about. It was made in the early eighti...

This week on Anime Pulse we got a whooper of a show today, as we celebrate our 800th show with guests from the community, previews from the spring season, and a little industry news. Up first Joseph and Andrew brush aside the IRL news and industry news to talk with the community, introduce them, and cover the community answers to this week's topic. After waving goodbye to the community and saying...

After the...

We broke down and inserted another coin to enable two player mode. That’s right, we went and dual reviewed the Double Dungeons Dragon movie. Or maybe we just went and saw The Super Mario Bros Movie[2023]. In spite of all the internet whinging that Chris Prat was voicing Mario which was surely a sign of how the west has fallen and millions must die. What can we really say about it? It’s an Illumina...

This week on Anime Pulse we got a 100cc limit, a ridiculous lawsuit, and bad girls in love. Up first Joseph talks about his time with Mario Kart and Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu, and Andrew recaps his trip to Germany before covering the community section about joining the dark side. Then in the industry news we got news about sweet red bean subs, and Monster Energy trying to be relevant in 2023. Lastl...

Welcome to another episode of Mango Pulse where we consume and rate the world’s favorite fruit. We recently tackled the controversy of Kent mangoes and the low score received by Randy’s Fruit Stand. We stick by our opinion that they’re a little biased because they get ready access to the host’s orchard of Tommy Atkins, a notoriously finicky but rewarding variety. Stepping aside from controversy, t...

Hey there everyone, have you ever just felt so good? Like really so good? Like that the sun could go nova and wipe all life off the face of the earth and leave only the smolderiest of craters where only politicians and cans of RC cola survive and you just feel great anyway? It may or may not be because we found an errant package of cocaine recovered from a southern state after making a pilgrimage...

This week on VGP, we actually have a good amount of news!! We start off with side notes of life and work, before diving into the regular news where we discuss the accusations against Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, before going over the official death of E3, the announcement of more amazing Pokemon squishmallows, the reception of the Mario Movie, and Monster Energy being stupid bullies a...

Up first Joseph thinks back on Easter bygone as he fills us in on his completion of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Andrew is preparing to travel so we end up doing a much earlier show. Then in the industry news Andrew is quitting Anime Pulse to become a pro Birdie...

Long days ago, when the nights were long and the game was slim. Great bookstores used to roam this land. We hunted them for their manga collections. Kodansha, Yen Press, even the lesser Tokyo Pop. All were plentiful. Something has changed and now we scavenge a barren land for the remains of those we used to hunt. Weltall has a revisit of Pansuto. You might recall that being the manga were the lose...

This week on Anime Pulse we got lopunny being the best Pokemon, a follow up to the men who harassed some statues at the Ghibli park, and being assigned a group of useless adventurers. Up first Joseph has been chilling with a furry in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Andrew would like to know who you think has the best hair in anime. Then in the industry news some voice actors were left grossed out b...

Captain, I’m getting readings of life from the planet below. Looks like it’s some sort of movie based society. They appear to consume a type of grass seed which has been heated until the moisture inside escapes. This is then given a fine coating of a churned animal fat, derived from their local cattle. It also appears as though this is consumed in ritual fashion while watching movie of any quality...

This week on Anime Pulse we got isekai dreams, rental relationships, and sexy anime characters. Up first Joseph goes over some FGO updates, and Andrew has been hitting the gaming gym in Street Fighter and Guilty Gear. Then in the industry news we talk about a man who defended some ladies underpants and the Resident Evil 4 Remake dropped with some cute animated trailers. Finally in the reviews Jose...

Bubble trouble? Prepare for muggle and make is subtle. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but we’ve already used the Team Rocket speech in an intro as well as quoting the witches from Macbeth. Also coupons and buy one get one free. It’s been hell of a week and we just sort of phone it in once in awhile. Plus, how many of you read this anyway? Cue angry emails about everyone who actually sees the...

We start off with discussion about the derp in question, before diving into the regular news where we discuss Microsoft trying desperately to show that they can play nice with others, Powerwash Simulator being a legend of a game as usual, a third party fix for Joycon Drift, Discord being stupid, and the Mario Movie looking great!! Afte...

You know what makes a movie work? Like really, really work? Is it well directed acting? A strong sense of shot composition or perhaps lighting? No, you film school snob. What makes a movie good is having a long dead pan voice over which lays out the setup and premise. Lucky for use there’s a great movie in Red Planet[2000]. The year is sometime in the future and something about climate or disease...

This week on Anime Pulse we got the worst anime of 2022, the first arrest among the Sushi Terrorists, and the best one-liners in anime. Everyone likes to save a buck here and there. Some people do that by reusing things like sandwich bags. Others will take trips to the outlet mall and stock up on irregulars. To that end, you should stock up on our irregular reviews. By that we mean imperfect and not off of a proper schedule. Though we do sometimes have scheduling changes. Because we are imperfect but we try harder. Tim has Galaxy...

This week on Anime Pulse we got Big Brother sushi, a surprising pick of a favorite character, and the series we are befuddled that have not received an anime adaptation. Up first Joseph hurts all over because he spent a couple hours shoveling snow, and Andrew is feeling a bit lethargic. Then in the industry news we morn the passing of a true great in the vtubing community due to twitter idiocracy,...
