At this point, he already understood his time, labor, and heart should be valued so he asked to be paid a fair sum – $1 an hour – for his work. When Jeff wasn’t helping with the harvest, he was on the ice, commanding offense for his hockey team. The tactical skills and teamwork hockey nurtured in Jeff set him up...

EP 56- Carl Amery: The Focus of an Integrator 01.08.2022 49:55
Society is set in ruins, people scratching at an opportunity that they are told they will never see, streets filled with crippling poverty while the "Big Man" spends their time feeding their own network versus the people of the community. That is a notion that is unfortunately seen around the world. People are shut away from opportunity based on their social class left to deal with the cards they...

You pay your way to an outcome that will never fill the void. Oftentimes people are so influenced by a name over someone who truly hustles. Consistency will allow you to do anything in this world. Sometimes it takes a shorter amount of time to reach that business goal or achieve that skill you want– but it all comes with time. There is a false narrative that success is overnight. It goes back to...

Public speaking still tops the list of one of the most terrifying things people can do. Imagine being in a room, on a stage in front of 1,000 people. What would you say? Would you walk around on the stage, or stand at attention? For most people, they would prefer death over having to speak publicly in a room with even 10 people in it. Philip Sessions is founder of "Speaking Sessions" and is a mot...

Everyone learns, experiences, and grows in life differently. Some people figure things out after making one mistake, and others take longer than most. Find someone to start...
EP 45- Nikki Corson- Long-Lashed and Dancing on the Rooftops 16.05.2022 44:25
Sometimes we hang on to people, things, and habits longer than necessary. We focus on saving things that we allowed to grow stale, old, or failed to maintain to begin with. We think if we spend a little more time doing something, we'll be able to restore something to its pure and original state. More does note necessarily mean more. Sometimes, you have to decide to quit and go in a different dire...

Sometimes we second guess the importance of what we're being exposed to or learning, even discounting as a minor irritation. But pay attention to the little details along the way in your life. Be alert to the coincidences that occur. Take note on how everything is always working out f...

Many entrepreneurs do not fit inside of a box, unless they're the ones who have created it. This is rooted in our existential search for purpose, meaning and significance. Nate Johnson is Co-Founder and CE...
EP 40- Lisa LaPlante, Iconic HR, COO: Honoring the Human in Human Resources 11.04.2022 33:04
"REGULATORS…………Mount Up!" That's the phrase you hear as an employee or business owner when you learn HR (Human Resources) is in the building. HR gets a bad wrap for being black and white in their methodologies. They're seen as the limiting part of a partnership, the rule keepers, the "complaint" department, and unfortunately they're a necessary evil in business. That very mindset is about to cha...

Not everyone is born to go a certain way or take a certain path while they're here on this planet.
