We have to make a lot of crucial decisions in life: What field of work will I go into? Will I marry, and who? Who will I vote for? But one question towers above the rest, and it's the question Jesus asks his disciples in Mark 8:29: Who do you say that I am? In today's message, we will explore some answers people may give to this question, and the consequences that those answers have.

Why does Jesus perform the same sequence of events? Why did it take so long to heal the blind man? Why do even believers continue to act in selfish ways? And, what do we do about all of it?  We need regular encounters with Jesus to help us learn and re-learn what is means to follow him.

Put aside your tribalism and recognize that we all need Jesus

Jesus, as a human, did what humans should have done, so that he can save us from our failure

What does nature tell us about God? How else do we learn about God? How does this knowledge change us?

Repent and turn to Jesus to find renewal.
