Wrestle Chop: WWE Wrestling Podcast

Stephanie Vaquer just won the Women's World Championship at a WWE house show from Liv Morgan — and now WWE is putting the actual match behind the Club WWE paywall. Is this the beginning of a new way for TKO and WWE to monetize major moments that traditionally would have been shown on television or released for free? That's my big question coming out of Monday Night Raw. The title change is now par...

Roman Reigns vs. Penta was an amazing match on Monday Night Raw! Yes, the outcome felt predictable. But honestly… so what? Sometimes you can know exactly who is going to win and still sit back and enjoy the hell out of the match. Roman Reigns wrestling Penta was something we haven't seen before, and that alone made this feel special. The chemistry, the atmosphere, the unique matchup, and the way b...

Did Oba Femi just create backstage heat with Bronson Reed? Plus, Stephanie Vaquer shockingly won the Women’s World Championship at a WWE house show in Chile, Johnny Gargano finally ended his months-long planking, Omos destroyed Rey Mysterio at AAA TripleMania 34, and Royce Keys is reportedly getting some serious praise backstage. These are five WWE stories and moments you may have missed this week...

Sami Zayn is WWE Champion — but is he a believable champion? Sami Zayn shocked everyone by winning the WWE Championship on SmackDown, but now comes the bigger question: does Sami actually feel like a WWE Champion? He may not have the traditional WWE Champion look, but does that really matter? I actually think Sami could be a great fluke champion — and that might be exactly what makes this interest...

Sami Zayn beats CM Punk! WWE SmackDown I honestly cannot believe what happened tonight. Sami Zayn defeated CM Punk and became the new Undisputed WWE Champion, and that was just one part of what made this such an incredible SmackDown. From the opening of the show all the way to the end, WWE kept giving us things to talk about. There were great matches, big moments, surprises, and storylines that ac...

I honestly don't know how AEW managed to pull this off. Last night's Rebel Heart Dynamite was one of the best tribute shows I've ever watched. AEW honored Rebel, brought much-needed awareness to ALS, and gave fans some incredibly emotional moments with Rebel and Britt Baker — all while still putting on a genuinely great wrestling show. And then there was the heartbreaking tribute to The Butcher, A...

You asked the questions, and I’m answering them! In this You Asked, I Answered episode, I’m answering a TON of questions from the WrestleChop community about how I got into wrestling, what first caught my attention, my favorite matches, WWE and AEW, wrestlers and gimmicks, championship belts, wrestling memories, and where I think the business is going. But we also get into plenty of stuff outside...

Jacob Fatu used to be ALL GAS. Now WWE has him ALL BRAKES. That’s the problem. Since becoming part of The Bloodline, Fatu feels like a completely different character. The wild, unpredictable, out-of-control Jacob Fatu we knew is slowly disappearing, and now he's becoming the voice of reason. On this week's Raw, Jey and Jimmy Uso wanted revenge on 946, and instead of Jacob Fatu being the one ready...

Somehow, WWE managed to make a night featuring The Vision, Oba Femi, Jacob Fatu, The Usos, Royce Keys and OTM feel anticlimactic. That is the biggest problem I had with tonight’s Monday Night Raw. The Vision is back together after Bronson Reed’s return, and they immediately made their presence felt by taking out Oba Femi. After what happened with Femi and Bron Breakker, this should feel like the b...

Did Sunday Night’s Main Event suck?! In this review, I break down the entire show and give you my honest thoughts on what worked, what didn’t, and whether WWE delivered a show worth watching. The biggest story coming out of the night was Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, with Cody coming dangerously close to snapping and embracing the darker side of The American Nightmare. I’ll also talk about the othe...

Sunday Night Main Event is here, and we're making it better! This time we're diving into fantasy booking, main event booking ideas, and some serious hot takes on where WWE should go next. The big story is Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Randy has been trying to get inside Cody's head, but Cody's reaction is starting to make him look like a completely different person. Has Cody Rhodes officially snapp...

NO MORE PLANKING! Johnny Gargano FINALLY got up and faced CM Punk! After spending months lying around backstage, Gargano finally snapped out of it when he was offered a shot at the WWE Championship—and somehow, the payoff actually delivered. CM Punk defended the WWE Championship against Gargano in the main event of SmackDown, and while there was never a moment where I thought Punk was actually los...

AEW Dynamite is officially on the road to All Out, and Jon Moxley is coming for Will Ospreay! After Will Ospreay became AEW World Champion at All In, he opened Dynamite celebrating the biggest win of his career — only for The Demand and The Dogs to interrupt. By the end of the night, Moxley and Ospreay were staring each other down after Tony Khan made their AEW World Championship match official fo...

WWE Sunday Night's Main Event is here, and it's time to make some PREDICTIONS! The first-ever Sunday Night's Main Event takes place September 6 in Atlanta, and WWE has put together a very interesting card headlined by Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton! I'll be going through EVERY announced match and giving you my predictions for who I think will win. Cody Rhodes battles Randy Orton in what could be one...

Does Penta DESERVE to beat Roman Reigns? That’s the big question after Monday Night Raw! Penta defeated his brother Rey Fenix in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Final, earning a shot at Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship in Mexico City on September 14. After the match, Roman came face-to-face with Penta, officially setting up one of the most interesting ti...

Tonight’s WWE Raw gave us an absolutely incredible main event as Penta took on his brother Rey Fenix in the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament. These two brothers put everything on the line, and the match delivered some wild moments, huge near falls and an emotional finish. Penta ultimately hit the Mexican Destroyer to defeat Fenix and earn his shot at the Wo...

AEW All In 2026 delivered a night full of huge moments, surprises, title changes, and plenty to argue about. In this honest review, I break down the entire show from Wembley Stadium and give my thoughts on what worked, what didn't, and whether AEW actually delivered on its biggest event of the year. We’re talking about Will Ospreay finally defeating Kenny Omega to become AEW World Champion, Merced...

WWE JUST FORGETS THEIR OWN STORIES?! That’s one of my biggest hot takes coming out of SmackDown! The Danhausen, The Miz, and Kit Wilson storyline was a huge part of what was happening, and then suddenly… it was just gone. No explanation, no payoff, nothing. I hated the zombie storyline, but that doesn’t mean WWE can simply pretend it never happened. Once you establish something on television, espe...

WWE SmackDown August 28, 2026 was awful. This is my full WWE SmackDown review, and honestly, I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with an episode of SmackDown. Tonight's show had plenty of big names and storylines, including Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton continuing their heated feud, CM Punk and Kevin Owens dealing with the fallout from last week's chaos, and a Triple Threat involv...

AEW All In is almost here, but did Dynamite actually do enough to get us excited? The final Dynamite before Wembley had some good moments, including Jon Moxley vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Nigel McGuinness vs. Kyle O'Reilly, Swerve Strickland vs. Jack Perry, and more — but for me, this just didn't feel like the go-home show AEW needed. In this video, I'm breaking down my thoughts on the Dynamite go-hom...

There’s been plenty of negativity surrounding WWE lately, so today I want to do something a little different: let’s talk about what WWE is actually getting RIGHT. I’m not saying everything is perfect, and there are still plenty of issues worth criticizing. But there have been some genuinely positive creative decisions lately that deserve to be acknowledged. From the evolving Bloodline story and Sa...

Royce Keys and OTM came out of NOWHERE, and naturally, some fans are already asking, “Who are these hooligans?!” 😂 But honestly… does it matter that we don't know them yet? Think about it: nobody knew who The Nexus was when they first showed up. Nobody knew who The Shield was either. Every major group has to start somewhere, and sometimes the most exciting thing is watching a group of wrestlers b...

Tonight’s WWE Raw from Ottawa delivered a packed show with the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament, the Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker contract signing, Stephanie Vaquer’s return to action, and plenty of Bloodline chaos. Rey Fenix defeated Dragon Lee, while Penta defeated La Parka to set up a Lucha Brothers showdown in the tournament final. But for me, the best thing on Raw was...

Cody Rhodes HEEL TURN?! SmackDown Hot Takes are here! After Cody Rhodes dropped Paul Heyman’s iconic “That’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler” line on SmackDown, are we finally seeing WWE set up Cody’s turn to the dark side? I’m breaking down Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Paul Heyman, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and everything else that stood out from the August 21 episode of WWE SmackDown in To...

Who will be the NEXT WWE Champions? In this video, I’m making my BOLD predictions for EVERY major WWE championship and predicting exactly who I think will be the next person to hold each title! Who is going to beat CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship? Who can finally dethrone Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship? And who are my picks to become the next Women’s World Champion...
