The UnSafe Bible

It's hard to deny that there is a Creator while looking at a beautiful sunset. Scripture tells us that part of the job of nature is to point us to God. The sun, moon, and stars all tell us a story of how amazing God is. So in Revelation, when it describes the drastic changes to nature that will take place, that's also to point people to God. Today, Pastor Ken teaches that during the tribulation, o...

The tribulation will be a time of great calamity and sorrow. Revelation clearly describes the difficulties that will arise during that era. There will be death, famine, suffering, and torture beyond what we can imagine. But why would God allow all this to happen? What's the purpose of all that pain? Today, Pastor Ken shows us that all of this will happen in order that people might come to Jesus. E...

Making assumptions is a dangerous habit to get into. It can lead to a lot of misunderstandings, confusion, and maybe even a loss of a friendship or two. Even more dangerous, though, is if you begin to make assumptions about what the Bible says. The book of Revelation can seem incredibly weird and confusing at times. It's easy to begin to assign our own meanings to some of the passages. But today,...

No matter how often a musical piece is practiced, there is always the chance that the wrong note will be played at the wrong time. However, the angels in heaven who have been tasked with blowing the trumpet to announce the end have been practicing for a.....long.....time! This note has been planned and anticipated since the dawn of creation. It won't be played at the wrong time or out of key! In t...

When you think of angels, you probably think of God's helpers, those who protect and guide. But come the last day, these cherubs will become avenging beings. God turns from grace to judgment, and the angels become flame throwers and warriors. Today Pastor Ken explains when the Lord opens the seventh seal, all of heaven takes notice. The angles have been prepared for this time. They know it's part...

Have you heard the phrase, the calm before the storm? In today's lesson with Pastor Ken, you'll see something similar will happen before the day of reckoning. Silence, in the book of Revelation, is followed by judgment. God will bring His decision, and all will fall silent before His throne. This event can't be missed. Christ's people will be spared this final proclamation; the wicked and those wh...

When I mention the select 144,000 of Revelation, your mind thinks of some things you've heard about these people. Some religions claim these are the cream of the crop, chosen because of their deeds on earth. But as you'll hear in today's message with Pastor Ken, these individuals are never referred to as 'the church.' 'The church' is another way of describing Christ's followers, his bride. If thes...

The Apostle Paul details several angels partaking in the events of the end days, as found in Revelation. God sends these angels to complete a task. In today's lesson with Pastor Ken, you'll see there will be times when the angels bring protection and peace amid death and destruction. Parts of the earth will be consumed with fire, while other areas experience protection by the angels. The Lord's ju...

Angels and divine beings are part of God's creation. They, like us, are created for a purpose. God guides and directs the angels to perform tasks and jobs. Today Pastor Ken shares how God has given his earthly children unique talents designed to advance His kingdom on Earth. The Bible details several spiritual gifts, but these lists are not exhaustive. For example, an auto mechanic is not listed a...

You may think that Revelation is one not to worry about because surely it won’t happen in your lifetime. Well, I’d encourage you to think again and consider the way that current events are lining up with...

The book of Revelation is one that often can leave you with more questions than answers. One of the big questions is whether or not many of the events described are to be taken literally or as a metaphor. For example, will the anti-Christ really have supernatural power? How about, is the sky really going to be rolled up like a scroll? If you’ve ever wondered about these things, then you don’t want...

When you think about people coming to know Christ, have you ever considered those left on earth after the rapture begins? Interestingly enough, The book of Revelation talks about what will happen to those left behind. It says that many will be saved even after the rapture has begun. Unfortunately, in light of the persecution that will take place, it will cost them their lives. Pastor Ken will cont...

Do you like sci-fi movies? How about the movies that take place as the world is ending? You know, the ones with the Mt Everest-sized tsunami…or the ones with the storm that causes the next ice age. What they usually all have in common is bad acting and a low production budget. Well, on a more serious note, the Bible tells us what the end of time will be like. In today's message, Pastor Ken will co...

You’ve heard of a wolf in sheep’s clothing before. It’s the idea that something dangerous is disguised as harmless or beneficial. His disguise will trick people for a while, but eventually, he’ll show his...

God has an enemy. His name is Satan, and he wants to destroy everything God loves. That means you’re on his list. Satan’s goal is to steal, kill, and beat in any way he can. The Apostle Paul tells us that Satan comes masquerading as a good guy, as someone like J...
