Librela (for dogs) and Solensia (for cats) isn't the "miracle" drug that Zoetis has promised to veterinarians. It's no secret that I've avoided having dog trainers come on the show in the past because I'm very passionate about positive reinforcement training and there are so many trainers who use methods that I can't condone. When I spoke with Denise before recording, I knew this would be a great fit! She's not only a dog trainer, but she uses spirituality in her training sessions,...

As a pet nutritionist, I am very passionate about the foods we feed to our pets - yes, your pets too!  The conversation around raw food diets is controversial and I have found that the conversation is much easier had around ultra processed foods and minimally processed foods.  Without a doubt, minimally processed wins hands down every time. Steve's Real Food was the first to bring raw food di...

At this point, most of our dogs will have some brush with cancer. That sucks. BUT we now know that 90-95% is LIFESTYLE, which is so empowering! When Oncotect first reached out to me and offered a test for my dog Kimberly, I was like "Sure!" and didn't think too much of it.  Then the email with the results hit my inbox and my heart sank. I didn't want to open it. Was it better that I just not know? What if she has cancer?  I did open it, breath held, and thank goodness her chances for having cancer based on this test we...

Did you know . . .     - That Rx pet food doesn't contain any        medication?     - That Rx pet foods ingredients are often        WORSE than the off the shelf brands?     - That Rx pet food isn't designed to be used        long term?   Let's break it all down with Dr. Chris Bessent of Medicus Veterinary Diets!  Send us Fan Mail 🐶 🐱 Nutrition & Holistic Health Consults: htt...

Getting involved in legislation seems overwhelming, and it is, but it's also our responsibility because when we don't get involved we allow things to just happen to us ... and I believe that's how we got to this place.  The PURR Act is being reviewed in Congress and it's not ready to be signed into law at best, but certainly not good for anyone who is a consumer of pet food.  P...

Michelle Thomas (Magical Mutts Michelle) has such a beautiful gift that she has honed to be able to connect energetically with pets (and people) to help us as pet parents understand our pets better. I've been using the Mine Pet Platter for over 2 years now and I LOVE it! I especially love the research behind the development (I'm such a nerd!) Carol Smeja and her late husband dug in to learning everything they could about how wolves and wild cats eat in the wild to bring a feeding experience to your pets that mimics their wild counterparts as closely as possible.  Not only do we disc...

I love making my home smell amazing ... but I also love knowing that I'm not killing myself and my pets with toxic chemicals. I can admit when I'm wrong ... and I was wrong. I heard about Carna4 many years ago and dismissed it because it's in a bag on a shelf.  ... But Carna4 is different, just like Maria! It wasn't until I heard Maria speak a few months ago that I opened my mind to the possibility that this isn't just another bag of food (feed) for dogs and cats.  Maria is passionate about feeding wh...
