We've discussed Florida many times on the podcast, but never for a reason such as this one. A man in Delray Beach named Chris is trying to help the environment by using sustainable and biodegradable drink can rings to package his company's beverages. Honestly, for all the hype around Florida being the weird cousin of these 50 states, it's something many people probably didn't e...

What's your favorite type of candy? What would you do to get it? How far would you go?  All those questions were answered recently when one couple in Israel tried to smuggle three hundred and seventy five pounds of Fruit Roll Ups across the border and past customs. As you'd expect, the reason why boils down to TikTok. We'll discuss what happened in this week's episode. The Vide...

Phones in today’s time are not limited to just making or taking calls. You can scroll endlessly on social media, you can watch videos, listen to music and even buy things that you’ve just got to have. If you've read Guinness you'll know there's a whole heap of records to break, some new, some old, some conventional and others - you couldn't have guessed in a million years that it would be up for consideration, That last option is where we land this week, when a woman in Alberta, Canada set the record for donations at her local blood drive.     #RejectedMedicalSlogans is feat...

Calling police is a great practice when you're in trouble and when you have problems where they're needed but what some people in California did is enough to make you questionwhere the line of "trouble" begins. Earlier this month, Jupiter and Venus passed through the night sky where people could see them. now, you'd think this would actually be interesting - a fairly cool...

Have you ever wanted to go to federal prison? Yeah, if your answer is no, you'd be in good company - but that's not the case for all of us. Take one man in Utah for example who decided that the best way to get to the big house - is one dollar at a time.  HowICelebrateWinning is featured   Oldest.org's Youngest High School Graduates List:  https://www.oldest.org/people/youngest-high-...

Tiktok can make people do crazy things. Some people jump on top of a stack of milk crates, some people try to imitate things they've seen their favorite celebrity do, regardless of if it's smart or not. This time out, we focus on another "hack" that claims to make children taller so they can ride the big kid rides. One set of parents tried this out and we'll discuss it in...

As kids, we all have our wonderings. Is the moon made of cheese? Why is the sky blue? Why do we breathe?  What makes trees grow? Then the classic is Santa real? Well, one girl in Cumberland County, Rhode Island decided she would get to the bottom of things and she wanted to use some very unusual methods for a person her age. We'll discuss what happened in this week's episode. #RockstarFo...

It's often said that when you marry the girl, you marry her family as well. Sometimes that can be good,  and other times not so much. Take the situation we discuss this week. A man in the UK got engaged to his girlfriend and everything seemed bright until there was a meeting in the kitchen at a family barbecue that lead to the parents of the groom being uninvited.  We'll discuss the fall...

There's three basic needs for life - food, water and shelter. This week, we'll talk through how one kid in Michigan went a little too overboard on the food when he got a little swipe happy with his dad's phone.  How much did he spend you ask? If you had a time machine, where would you go? Would you have dinner with Abraham Lincoln? Would you watch  Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show in person? Would you go to a Shakespeare play at the Globe Theater in 1500's England? There are alot of choices you could make but for one woman who we'll call Sherry, the decision was alot simpler, and it backfired for reasons we'll discu...

Waffles, it's hard to find somebody who doesn't love them, and the host of this podcast is no exception. There are two main places you can find them - Coffee House and Waffle House. In North Carolina, we have Coffee Houses and at one franchise recently there have been some nerves touched concerning a so called "secret" menu made famous from where else but TikTok. In this week&a...

This week, we take a look into a case of "what would you do?" Five million dollars is a boatload of money right? More than most would know what to do with or how to handle, but if you found an unclaimed check for that amount just floating on the breeze, again the question is, what would YOU do? Spend it.  donate, or give it back to who it was meant for? A man in Germany was faced with th...

A child's imagination is an interesting thing, it can conjure up several things that many people think is impossible.
