Slaughterhouse Princess

It's all Prophecy all the time this month as we take a look at all of the Prophecy movies.  Are we off to a good start, or is it a bad omen for the rest of the month.

If you thought that there weren't enough scenes of people asking for directions in the last few movies we watched, then do we have good news for you.

This was directed by Takashi Miike who also directed Yakuza Apocalypse and Audition.  This movie sure isn't either of those.

The original title of this movie was The Return of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  We just wanted everyone to know that.

What if Superman was bad might not sound like a horror movie, but rest assured it gets pretty wild when it wants.

Pig: I'm a sea pig...

To the surprise of no one, Hotlanta picked out this week's film which is in his favorite sub-genre: murder kids and/or kids getting murdered.  Although to be fair, he prefers to watch children do the murdering

We take a look at a movie where everyone can only express themselves through song.  Also something about a barber, murders, and pie, but mostly the singing thing.

This week we take a moment to reflect on whether we could see ourselves acting the same way if we were in that situation.

We take a look at two episodes of Masters of Horror, Imprint and Fair Haired Child, instead of one movie.  It should double our chances for something good or something bad, so nothing really changed I guess.

We take a look at  movie that's based on a YouTube series called Marble Hornets all about The Operator, who is not Slenderman. Although they do go to the same tailor.

As Anime August draws to a close, we take time to look at a thoughtful rumination on the transient nature of humanity.  Just kidding, it's all punching brains out of heads and bondage monsters.

We press on through Anime August with a Hotlanta selection so it's bound to be a movie in the most general of terms.

For our second week of Anime August we see what happens when you combine inappropriate accents with a non existent plot and just a hint of too much swearing.

We kick off Anime August with a classic tale of a wandering samurai defending the countryside from evil and some real problematic depictions of several things.

Leave that meteor alone and get yourself Adrienne Barbeau drunk as we take a look at this anthology from the team of George Romero and Stephen King.

Don't let the title fool you , there are no high voltage power lines in the movie.

Get your spider liquor ready as we head out to a haunted house ran by Jigsaw's cousins, with less games and all murder.

The most dangerous game would've been having someone named Mike organize The Hunt, a Mike Hunt if you will.

Put on your thinking caps as we try to solve the biggest puzzle of all, why did so many movies based on escape rooms come out at the same time?

We travel to the edge of the solar system to find the weirdest Goldilocks and the Three Bears adaptation ever put to film.

Dust off your cd-rom drive and get ready for a technological nightmare that only the mid-nineties could produce.

Hotlanta requested the movie this week and it was directed by Uwe Boll, so that's two strikes right off the bat.  Is a strike out, or does it hit it out of the park?

There's not much we can say about Rocky Horror that hasn't been said, but we're going to try anyway.  God help us all.

We remember our former podcast host Robotlanta this week with a movie about his favorite thing, Dick Miller cameos.  It would be pretty weird if it were robots.
