No guilt in life, no fear in death, this is the power of Christ in us. O Lord, You have given us grace to conquer the grave, to conquer our fears, and now we ask that You would give us more grace to uncover our ears, that we would hear, that we would listen, we […] The post An Ugly Fall appeared first on Christ Covenant Church . God, we come to You again, not merely out of habit or custom, but out of a sincere sense of our need, that You would speak to us. Whether we have heard from this chapter in the Bible hundreds of times or it is our first time considering it, we pray that You would teach […] The post A Glorious World and a Good Design appeared first on Christ Covenant Church . Thy mercy, my God, is the theme of my song, the joy of my heart, and the boast of my tongue. Thy free grace alone from the first to the last hath won our affections and bound our souls fast. Our Father in heaven, we claim Your promise that though You oppose the proud, You give grace to the humble, and so I ask that my heart would be humble before You that You might give me grace to preach Your Word faithfully, joyfully, and in great power. And that You might give humble hearts […] The post And Behold, It Was Very Good appeared first on Christ Covenant Church . Download our mobile app

Well, good morning, Christ Covenant. Great to be with you today. It’s good to be back and to actually see real faces in the congregation. The last couple of times I’ve preached the only thing that was in the congregation was a camera. So it’s great to have faces here. Although I can’t fully see […] The post How Does the Kingdom of God Grow? Not Like You Think appeared first on Christ Covenant Chur...

Our Father in heaven, every text in this Bible is inspired, it’s inerrant, it’s infallible, it’s profitable, and yet we all recognize there are, there are certain passages whose power and eloquence and majesty grip us in a particular way, and this from Habakkuk chapter 3 is one of those. Surely, I am not equal […] The post A Prayer of Pain and Praise appeared first on Christ Covenant Church . Down...
