People-pleasing may look harmless, but it slowly replaces obedience with approval. In Galatians 1:10, Paul reminds us that we can’t seek the approval of both God and man at the same time. When our value is tied to being useful, liked, or not disappointing others, it leads to exhaustion, compromise, comparison, and fear. The fear of man becomes a trap, but trust in the Lord brings freedom (Proverbs...

This week’s message reminded us that the greatest battles we face aren’t always external. Often, the battlefield is the mind. Romans 12:1–2 calls us to resist conforming to the patterns of this world and instead be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We were challenged to recognize that not every thought deserves agreement, that we are not defined by our strongest thoughts. Through Christ, w...

Living free from condemnation! Romans 8 reminds us that God doesn’t label us by our past—only He gets to name us, and He calls us His. When we stop trying to live in our own strength and surrender our lives and minds to Christ, our focus shifts and our lives start to look different. The evidence of a changed heart? A life being changed by Jesus. He lives in us, and He’s the one doing the transform...

We all serve something or someone in this life, but Jesus is the only One you can serve who actually sets you free. So here’s the real question: Who’s your master? Christ or Satan? Are you a slave to sin or a servant of righteousness? https://www.bible.com/events/49523703 Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout th...

Feeling stuck? You’re not alone — but you don’t have to stay there. Sometimes it’s not clear, we’re not convinced, or we think we can’t change. But Romans 6 reminds us: ➡️ God’s truth about you is real. ➡️ You’ve died to sin and get to live with Christ. ➡️ In Him, you have the power to get unstuck. You don’t have to keep running the same route — Jesus already made a new way. ✨ https://www.bible.c...

Death is the most obvious reminder that something in our world isn’t right. We weren’t created to die — sin brought death into humanity through Adam. But just as death entered through one man, life and hope come through another — Jesus. 🙌 We don’t have to fear death because Jesus defeated it. He’s our victory, our forgiveness, and our meaning. The real question is… what’s your plan after death? B...

The Benefits of a Relationship with God ✨ When you have a relationship with God, everything changes. 💭 It puts your problems in perspective—because even your suffering has purpose. God uses it to build endurance, character, and hope that never disappoints. 🙌 Our relationship with God is rooted in His love—undeserved, unearned, and unshakable. ❤️ Through Jesus, we’ve been justified, reconciled,...

This week we looked at Romans 4 and the incredible truth that we are saved by faith, not by our own works. Salvation isn’t something we can earn—it’s something that’s credited to us through Jesus. 💥 Before we ever do anything, our identity in Christ comes first. And when doubts creep in, we can rest in this: faith over feelings, focus over distractions, and trust over fear. ✝️ Missed last night’s...

“Dying for Access” 🔑Pastor Jon dives into Romans 3 where we are reminded that righteousness isn’t earned—it’s accessed. Through Jesus, we’ve been given direct access to God, not because of what we’ve done, but because of what He’s already done. 💡 The Promise of Access: It’s for everyone who believes. 💰 The Price of Access: Jesus paid it all—justified, redeemed, and set free. ⚡ The Power of Acc...

Pastor Chad digs deep into Romans 3 and reminds us of the weight of sin and the beauty of the gospel. ✨ Paul shows us that we all fall short—none of us are righteous on our own. Sin isn’t just something we stumble into; it’s what we naturally choose. But the good news is that God, in His justice, doesn’t leave us there. 🙌 The law reveals our brokenness, but it also points us to our desperate nee...

Good Lies We Believe 👀 Pastor Jon continued through Romans at the Crossroads and discussed 3 lies that keep us from truly depending on Christ: 1️⃣ “I’m not that person.”➡️ Comparing yourself to others won’t make you right with God (Romans 2:1-5) 2️⃣ “I’m not that lost.”➡️ It’s not about how far you’ve strayed—it’s about trusting in Jesus’ finished work (Romans 2:16-20) 3️⃣ “I’m not that bad.”➡️ E...

Pastor Chad continued our Romans series by talking about the wrath of God. In times like these, it’s not always easy or comfortable to think about God’s wrath. But Pastor Chad reminded us that despite those feelings, we actually need God’s wrath. If grace is God’s love, His wrath is a reflection of His perfect justice. 🙏 Romans 1:18 says: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all...

What if revival isn’t an event, but a new normal? In this Revive Week message, guest speaker Drew Worsham (pastor, church planter, and Christian illusionist) opens Acts 4 to show how the early church lived with a clear message, were marked by Jesus, and were motivated by the cross, and why we can’t “come have revival and then go back to normal.” Drew shares a memorable Rubik’s Cube illustration, p...

Ananias said, “Here I am, Lord.” And everything changed. 🙌 This Tuesday, Pastor Jon talked about what it really means to be a disciple — not just someone who believes, but someone who follows. 👣 A disciple gives Jesus attention, availability, and authority. And when God calls, disciples say YES — even when it’s uncomfortable. We make the choice to:💬 Confess our fears🔥 Fight apathy🤝 Reject sel...

Sacrifice isn’t something we grow out of as Christians—it’s the foundation of our faith. 🙏🏽 Last night, Pastor Chad continued our Multipliers series with a message on The Method of the Multiplier — and it all comes down to this: 1. Worship Jesus 2. Lay down your life for Him 3. Follow Him wholeheartedly You can’t make Jesus known while trying to stay in control or clinging to things that are hol...

Just like sunflowers naturally turn toward the light for life, our hearts were made to turn toward Jesus for abundant life🌻 Lastnight Pastor Chad broke down Romans 6:23 which reminds us that sin brings death—but God offers a free gift: eternal life through Jesus. No amount of good works or religion can bridge the gap… only the cross can! You can’t earn God’s love. You can only receive it. Are you...

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19–20) 🌍 ⠀ Last night Pastor Chad kicked off a powerful new series called Multipliers, reminding us that our true purpose isn’t hidden in the world — it’s found in the Word. ⠀ As young adults, it’s easy to chase purpose through success, image, or comfort.
