Can EU sanctions turn into punishment without trial, and can foreign-policy powers be aimed inward at Europeans? In this talk, I’m joined by Colonel Jacques Baud (former Swiss Army colonel and intelligence officer), now targeted by EU sanctions, to unpack the legal gray zone, the evidence problem, and the wider push for narrative control. Are our governments just managing stories instead of fixing real problems? It really feels like we are becoming the closed system we once opposed. To make sense of this strange new world, I sat down with two men who refuse to follow t...

What happens when the skilled workers needed for doomsday weapons leave for better-paying AI jobs? Is the American war machine running on pure delusion? To find the truth behind the curtain, I brought in Greg Mellow. He is an engineer and former enf...

Originally published on Feb 11, 2026. Why is neutral Ireland suddenly rewriting its laws to send soldiers into foreign conflicts without a UN mandate? We are told our peaceful stance hasn't changed, yet we are seeing a rush to buy attack weapons and join EU battle groups. Is the government hiding a secret plan for war? To help me understand this shadow agenda, I invited Niamh Ni Bhriain, an au...

Originally published on Feb 8, 2026. Many people are talking about a collapsing Europe that is losing the war in Ukraine. But according to my guest today, the reality is exactly the opposite. The EU is in fact the war’s quiet winner, because the threat narrative provides it with everything it needs to transform itself into a state. One only has to look at how the EU has empowered itself by imposin...

Originally published on Feb 5, 2026. The onslaught against Iran is not over. And yes, the USA might be using a siege strategy to crack Iran in the end through its economy and civil society. However, the projection of brute force power politics (the way the US used to be able to simply march into Iraq and have its leader hanged) are not working anymore. The US sent its warships to Iran before, once...

Originally published on Feb 1, 2026. Does being in NATO really feel that different from being in the Warsaw Pact for those who lived through both? And is it possible for a group of Eastern European nations to actually force peace by acting as a "buffer zone" from within the alliance? To explore these ideas, I turned to someone who has watched the world shift from the deck of a ship. Capt...

Originally published on Jan 31, 2026. Do European leaders actually believe that destroying their own economies is a good idea? I want to know if the arrogance we see in the West is just a bad habit or a sign of deep insecurity. Maybe the problem isn't politics, but the people running the show. To help me understand the minds behind these decisions, I sat down with Marianne Volonté. She is a Sw...

The only thing that can save the exhausted alliance is peace with Russia and a return to the fundamental principles of European defence–security without aggression. My guest today puts forward concret...

With talk of American bases and a strange push for Greenland, one must to ask: is Scandinavia becoming the next war zone? Thorbjørn Sassersson is here to help with insights. He is an award-winning Swedish journalist who runs an independent news outlet. Links:...

Originally published on Jan 28, 2026. Did peace deals fail by accident, or were they just used to buy time for war? Is the European Union using this crisis to take power away from its own member states? And why does admitting this is a proxy war actually offer the best hope for peace? I dig into these questions with Dr. György Varga, a Hungarian diplomat who saw the build-up to this fight with his...

Originally published on Jan 27, 2026. Everyone thinks neutrality means staying out of trouble. But what if it's actually about diving straight into the chaos to stay involved? We need to ask: is international law just a tool for the powerful, or can the little guys use it to strike back? To find out, I brought in Dr. Stefano Catellan and Professor Frederick Dhondt from the Vrije Universiteit B...

Originally published on Jan 26, 2026. Is the transatlantic partnership simply an abusive marriage disguised as diplomacy? We examine if the recent spectacle at Davos signals the collapse of Western cohesion and ask whether Europe possesses the resolve to finally decouple from a volatile American leadership or remain trapped in a fading colonial dynamic. Today I sit down again with Chandran Nair, f...

These aren't hypothetical scenarios from a spy thriller—they are the exact ques...

Originally published on Jan 23, 2026. With Western elites in Davos finally abandoning the charade of a "rules-based order" and Trump’s trade wars alienating even New Delhi, we face a stark reality: Is globalization dead, or just changing management? And if the West is bowing out, is India ready to lead the Global South? To map out this volatile landscape, I sat down with two Indian colle...

Originally published on Jan 22, 2026. How does a "ragtag" opposition manage to smuggle 50,000 Starlink terminals into a heavily sanctioned fortress? The recent chaos in Tehran was not a genuine uprising but a US-Israeli orchestrated regime change operation. Its failure means a whole lot for US hegemony in the region. To deconstruct this fog of war, I sat down with investigative journalis...
