Movement Christian Church

Life can be frustrating. If you feel like nothing seems fulfilling, maybe you're aiming at the wrong targets. What should our goal as believers be? To make money, or grow God's Kingdom? Let's take a look at the closing of Colossians 1 and see how to live a life on target.

Join us as dive into the historical context of the city of Colossae and what Paul’s words mean in Colossians 1:15-18 for us today. Paul will teach us how to see God in this world today, what the purpose of our life is for, how to have our life all held together, and what it means for Christ to be supreme in our lives.

Are people grateful for your life? Are they happier to see you coming or see you leaving? We take a look at Colossians one and see what we learn about how to live a life that other people are grateful for.

Do you need a do over? A fresh start? This week we kickoff our new series called “This is Your Life”with a message that digs into what it means to have a fresh start in Jesus.

As we wrap up the book of Hebrews, we take a look at chapter 13, which at first glance may seem like a lot of random ideas. But the Hebrew writer is sharing with us what it looks like to stay faithful and put your faith into practice so that you can hold onto Jesus

Life will get difficult at times. And you will feel like you can’t go on. Just like running a marathon everyone hits a wall. How do you keep running this race of faith and break through the wall? Hebrews chapter 4 reminds us of just what it takes.

What does it take to build Finish line faith? Kind of faith that will carry you through all the troubles and turmoil that life brings. As we round out the book of Hebrews over the next couple of weeks we take a look at Hebrews chapter 4, and one of the key difference makers for those that finish their spiritual race well versus those that do not.

An empty chair says a lot. It can mean a loss, a missed opportunity, or a rejection. Do you know that God has a seat for you? A place of rest? Will you take your seat at the table?

If you've ever wondered if you're important to others, or what your role in life is, Hebrews has an answer for you. God had a role for all of us in His family. We need each other and others need us!

Life can get scary and sometimes, we just need someone near us to bring some comfort. God knew that on the deepest level. So Jesus came as "God with Skin on!" What does that mean for us and why is it important?

Who gets the Last Word in your life? Most of us would answer Jesus. But is that really the case? Why does Jesus deserve the last word and what does that look like for us?

Sometimes we feel like giving up. How do you keep going? What can we learn from Hebrews about not just running our race but finishing well?

Sometimes life is just plain tough. We all want to quit sometimes. But if you want to stay strong, you have to have faith in the fight. The end of Hebrews 11 shows us how so many faithful people before us have stayed faithful in the fight and how we can learn from them how to do the same

Are you a Faithful Follower? The Bible teaches us what Faith looks like. Because faith exists more than just in your head like knowledge. Real faith always makes it way out into your choices and actions. What lessons can we learn from Hebrews and our Heroes of the faith to let our faith live out loud?

What is faith? We take a look at the depth of a simple word that carries so much meaning. How do we grow in our faith so that we don’t drift and lose our focus on Christ?

If you find yourself drifting, what do you do? We take a look at the answer we find in Hebrews 10. It’s too important to take lightly.

What lions are you chasing? Are you stuck in the boat? God is calling you to more but the question is are you willing to follow? Where is God calling you to go All in for the Kingdom?

We can often feel like an outsider when it comes to our relationship with God. Have you ever felt like other people seemed to have a much stronger connection to God? This week we take a look at Hebrews 10 and how we can see the way of having a closer relationship to God is available to all of us.

Every moment matters! Not matter how small it matters. In the scheme of history, 3 days may not seem like much but it changed everything. And Jesus changes everything for you and I. Listen as we discuss a small detail that makes all the difference!
