God never has to ask “What if?” — He already knows every decision, every missed opportunity, and every victory waiting to happen. But for us… the question remains: What if? What if prayer was a part of our identity and not just our emergency plan? What if building Christian relationships were our culture instead of a class? What if sharing our faith came naturally from our personal experience of J...

Join us as we pick up with part two in our message on parenting. This teaching emphasizes that effective parenting reflects God’s character—offering instruction, support, relationship, discipline, and the goal of independence. God's plan for biblical parenting aims not just at good behavior, but at shaping mature, spiritually grounded adults who can make wise, godly decisions.

Join us for Part 6 of our Family Matters series! The focus? Parenting—God’s way. We’re answering the big question: What does biblical, God instructed parenting actually look like? Christian families should be a model of healthy parenting for others to see. How can we go from dysfunctional families to healthy families? We won't find out by looking at this world, we must go to the bible. We’ll walk...

Family Matters series part 5. Family sticks together. Church isn’t a business—it’s a family. And like every family, dysfunction is inevitable. But where the world walks away, God's design is to grow us through it. In this message, we explore how honesty, commitment, and unity create the maturity we all need. Whether it's conflict, misunderstanding, or messy moments, real growth happens when we cho...

Join us in Mark Chapter 2. Our church feels mandated by God to make sure that every person in our church get's opportunity to build relationships, learn to study their bible and pray. Those opportunities are offered Wednesdays during small group but not everyone attends Wednesdays. In an effort to make bible study a regular practice for everyone we are going to practice reading/studying our bible...

Wake Up The Bride Can you imagine riding in the car with someone who's going 60 miles per hour down the highway but they are asleep? You woudn't worry about being polite as you shake them and try to wake them up. In fact you may go to great lengths to make them uncomfortable. It's safe to say the average church attender in America is asleep. In this message we will look at how God began in 2020 to...

Join us for part 4 in our series. Family fights for each other.

We hope you'll take some time and listen/watch the messages in this series. In part one we talked about what the church is and what it is not. Discussing that the church is a called out group, chosen for a purpose. The church is not a monument to be observed but a movement. In part two we talked about the purpose of the family, whether that is our household or the family of God. Looking at scriptu...

Family Matters Pt 2 In Part one of our Family Matters series we compared how everyone can potentially view the church as a family or a business. Do you come to church expecting someone to do your Christianity for you? Is the sermon the only bible you year? Is the worship the only time in your week that you praise God? Does spectating describe your Christian experience? The word used for church in...

Family Matters Join us in this series as we discuss the Christian life at home, and the Christian life within the body of Christ. We will see what scripture says about the relationships, the roles, and the struggles. You can watch these messages on Roku and our church app. ParkHillsAssembly.com

Heavenly Design pt 3 What does the Jewish Temple tell us about our Christian faith? Is it possible that by understanding the old testament we can have a better understanding of everything that Jesus accomplished for us? Join us in part three of our series as we talk about the Holy Place. The place of God's presence.

Heavenly Design What does the ancient jewish temple have to do with our Christian faith? As we look at scripture we realize that the plans for the temple were given by God and they were very specific. There was a design and many believe that the earthly temple mirrors a heavenly temple. In our previous message we talked about the outer court and the Laver where you had to cleanse and examine yours...

What does God's design for the Old Testament Jewish Temple have to do with our Christian Faith? Why should a modern day Christian care about the temple's Holy of Holies, or the Brazen altar? For many believers they know what they are expected to believe when attending church but most don't understand why they believe what they believe. Why do you believe that Jesus's death on the cross cleanses yo...

We look at God's word to find Elijah who is pressured on every side and he's told to go confront his enemy and promise rain. There had been a drought of 3 1/2 years. His enemy had hunted for him and could potentially kill him. It would take a lot of faith to be obedient. It would take more faith to believe that God could change the situation. What is God asking you to confront, when was the last t...

The High Cost Of Low Living. There are people who attend church and then there are people who live for Jesus. People who live for Jesus want to please God with their lives. They want Jesus to get attention and recognition from their lives. Each person has to decide if they want to live for Jesus or just attend church. If we want to please God with our lives we will have to confront the sin in our...

Kingdom Come The Kingdom of God is not what many would assume that it is. God's kingdom is not a sermon series, church building, worship team or church ministry. God's kingdom is someone getting saved, and sin's power over their life being broken. God's kingdom is someone recognizing who God has called them to be in this life, instead of looking to others for their identity/purpose. The kingdom of...

If you try to get a job, one of the first things they will ask you about is your experience. When someone says they are a believer the first thing I want to know is what experience do you have. Your experience with God matters. Don’t underestimate what God can do through encountering his presence. One season David was a shepherd, the next season he was king. One season Ruth was working on a field,...

Hold On! When the driver of a vehicle or an airplane says to Hold On! Usually, people tend to pay attention. American Christians have been through some uncertain times and the only thing that we can say for certain about America is that nothing is certain. We don't know what tomorrow holds but as children of God we know who holds tomorrow. When everything is shaken, only that which cannot be shake...

Hey David... Where's Jonathan? God anointed David to fight the enemy and glorify God's name on the earth. David would fight personal battles against bears, he would fight public battles against giants. One of the hardest battles David would face is the rejection of someone he looked up to, one of the only father figures in his life. King Saul would reject David and try to kill David. God knew that...

Did You Receive? Part 3 Acts 19... And finding some disciples 2 he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”, We are teaching and preaching on the Holy Spirit in a series of messages. We've talked about how the Holy Spirit is there to empower us and also reveal Jesus to us. This message we will be talking about receiving the Holy Spirit in all of his fullness. We see in sc...

Did You Receive? Part 4. In this message we will begin dealing with what to expect when we receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Putting aside experiences we have seen or heard in the church world, we must look to scripture. If we never attended a church, if we never talked to a Christian. If we only had the bible to guide us in our pursuit of God's fullness what would that experience look like?...

We pick up in our study at Mark 1:16.
