Forget Me Not

Reflect today on your desire. The prophets and kings of old "desired" to see the Messiah. We are privileged to have Him alive in our midst today, continually speaking and calling to us. Cultivate a desire for the Lord. Let it become a fervent flame longing to consume all that is true and good. Desire God. Crave His Truth. Seek His guiding hand in your life, and allow Him to bless you bey...

Conversion is an ongoing process, and each step of turning toward Christ opens the door to deeper transformations. Like Saint John of the Cross suggests, be open to the possibility of continual conversion throughout your spiritual journey. Reflect today on the perfection of Christ's authority. Do you believe He can exercise His power in your life? Do you trust that His authority is essential for ordering your life, family, the Church, and the world? Surrender yourself to Christ's authority through prayer, and witness the transformative power He can unleash.

Reflect today on what captures your attention the most. What do you think about throughout the day? If the ongoing promptings of God and His grace are not at the forefront, take note of that. Humbly pray for a change, aiming to form a habit of daily focusing your attention on the Lord, making Him your guide and focus in all things.

Reflect today on what may hinder you from being ready to meet the Lord. Whether struggling with self-indulgence or battling anxiety, trust in Jesus is the key. Entrust your decisions, sins, worries, and tensions to Him. Rest in His consoling embrace, allowing Him to prepare you for the glorious day of His judgment.

The Word of God is not just a source of inspiration or guidance; it is a Living Word, a manifestation of the unchanging God. Engaging with His written Word allows you to experience true stability in life and prepares you for the changes to come unti...

Reflect today on Jesus speaking these words to you. First, ponder whether you have wholeheartedly said "Yes" to Him. Second, consider whom our Lord wants you to invite on the journey. To whom is Jesus sending you to extend the invitation? Who in your life is open to His call? Imitate the Apostles, saying "Yes" even without understanding all that it entails. Say "Yes"...

Reflect on Jesus' promise. Some may experience little persecution, while others face severe mistreatment, even from family. Consider past encounters with unjust treatment and reflect on your response. Were you able to forgive, set aside anger and wounded pride, and resist revenge? Did you rejoice in sharing in the sufferings Jesus endured? Pray for openness to the grace of Jesus' promise,...

Reflect today on the inevitable difficulties in life. Some result from personal sin, while others are unjustly imposed. Focus on your own sin and trust God with challenges beyond your control. Entrust all to God—suffering, persecution, tragedy, and struggle. If God can bring about the greatest good from the brutal murder of His divine Son, He can do the same with what you offer in trust. Trust in...

Reflect on the poor widow's example. Blessed with very little, she found it easier to remain detached from material wealth, giving all to God. Jesus noticed and praised her. Consider our Lord's response to your offering. If holding back, let the poor widow inspire you to daily dedicate everything to God's service in alignment with His holy will.

Today, reflect with deep faith on this impending, glorious, and definitive moment. On that day, your fidelity to God's will will be paramount, with your charity laid bare and its rewards everlasting. Let this reflection motivate you to daily prepare for the Last Judgment, as when the glorious return of Jesus happens, it will be too late to change. Ready yourself each day so that when Jesus ret...

Reflect today on this glorious teaching of our Lord, which you profess faith in every time you pray the Creed. Keep your focus on Heaven and, especially, on the final and glorious resurrected state in which you will live in the new Heaven and Earth. The more you live with this holy expectation, the more you will live here and now as a time of preparation for this final existence. Work on building...

Reflect today on the Gospel messages needed in our contemporary world that address corruption both in society and within the Church. Be open to supporting such holy preaching and draw inspiration from it. Hang on to these sacred words of God's messengers. As you do, God will safeguard and encourage them to continue their mission of purification.

Today, reflect on your response to evil in your life. Consider your internal and external reactions. Do you mourn with love for the sins you witness and experience? Do you grieve with holy sorrow over your own sins and the sins of others? Work on cultivating this form of love within you, as it can serve as motivation to transform both your own sins and the sins of others that you encounter.

Take a moment to reflect on which category your life most closely resembles. It is likely one of the first two. Do you have great zeal for building God's Kingdom, even at the cost of personal sacrifice? If so, rejoice, for an abundant reward awaits. If you struggle with fear, especially when it comes to evangelism and openly living your faith, spend more time reflecting on this parable and the...

Reflect today on your ability to draw Jesus to yourself. You can achieve this by recognizing your need for Him. Don't hide it. Climb the metaphorical tree, allowing Jesus to see your evident desire for Him. As you express your need for Him, know that His unfailing love and mercy will compel Him to come to you and abide in the house of your soul. When He does, be prepared and willing to abandon...

Today, reflect on these four elements of a profound prayer life that are illustrated through the example of this blind beggar. First, contemplate your own weakness and spiritual poverty as you turn to God in prayer. Second, be alert to the presence of God as He passes by, awaiting your call. Third, cry out to Him and implore Him to draw nearer. And fourth, work to overcome any obstacles to your pr...

Reflect today on whether you consistently prioritize the Kingdom of God. Do you choose grace, mercy, heaven, obedience, love, self-sacrifice, compassion, and forgiveness daily? If so, the Lord will continually bestow His saving grace upon you, preparing you for the ultimate judgment. If not, you risk being caught off guard, much like the people in Noah's and Lot's time. Live for God now, i...

Consider this profound teaching, "The Kingdom of God is among you," and seek insight through prayer. The Kingdom is present in every aspect of our lives, both externally and within us. Can you perceive it? Use this as a self-assessment of your faith and embrace God's desire to reveal these mysteries through His grace.

Reflect, today, upon the depth of gratitude in your own heart. Do you often act more like a spoiled and selfish child, or do you regularly perceive the graciousness of God? If you lack in any way this fullness of gratitude, then ponder this one leper. His gratitude, expressed with the fullness of passion, is the most important part of this story. In the end, he was graced far more than the other n...

Pray that you will be able to surrender complete control to God in all things...

Are you judgmental or condemning, or do you show deep compassion and mercy? Commit yourself to loving all of God's "little ones" and serving them with Christ's heart, leading them toward eternal joy in Heaven.

Today, reflect on the natural faculties of your soul, particularly your five senses. Examine how you employ them, what you observe, listen to, and indulge in. Your senses are like windows to your soul and the primary means through which God speaks to you and enters your heart. Guard your senses and allow only heavenly things to enter, producing the oil of charity within, and keeping you prepared f...
