Encouraging Christians

A wounded or a crushed spirit will bring us into a place of bondage or captivity making us feel as if there is no hope to change or better our life. Jesus will liberate you from that captivity if you cry out to Him. He will save you from that bondage and brokenness. Psalm 34:18

The Lord is near. The righteous cry. God hears and delivers. Psalm 34:17-18

God loves you and I. We worship God because we love Him and place great value on Him and who He is. Luke 4:5-8

You and I were against God because of our sin. Jesus paid for our sin to bring us back to God. Are we bringing others to God? 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

What blessing do you have from God that is valuable to you enough to protect? 2 Timothy 1:14

To the same level and degree that you have experienced God’s unconditional love and acceptance, share that with others on His behalf. 1 Peter 4:8-10

How did the Prodigal son’s brother respond when the Father showed him love? How do you and I respond when our Father shows love to others? 1 Peter 4:8 and Luke 15

You and I are responsible to show the same unconditional love and acceptance to those around us as we receive from our Heavenly Father. 1 Peter 4:8

God chooses not to remember your sins and iniquities. He wants daily fellowship with you. Unhindered, transparent fellowship. Will you spend that time with Him today? Hebrews 10:17

God chooses not to remember your sin against you. Can you begin each day in fellowship with Him without remembering your sin? Hebrews 10

Do you still practice religious exercises or are you focused on your fellowship with your Heavenly Father? Hebrews 10

Do you still try to be a good person to gain favor with God? Do you focus on all the religious practices you need to incorporate into your life so you are a good Christian? Do you focus on your relationship with God more? Hebrews 10

Over and over in the Bible we read about God meeting with people. Adam and Eve, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Saul, David, etc. He also wants to meet with you, are you ready? Genesis 32:1

What does going over the top mean? Zechariah 4:6

Are you and I living today as a Christian in defeat by focusing on darkness or are we walking in victory following the Light? John 8:12

Jesus does not condone sin. Jesus does not condemn sinners. John 8:11

We are His sheep. He speaks to us. Are we listening? John 10:27-29

Sometimes people play mind games with us. It’s not very nice. Sometimes we get trapped in them by playing along with them. Satan uses mind games to distract us from God’s voice. Is he playing mind games with you today? Ephesians 6:10-13

Anger, unforgiveness, and bitterness are all back door opportunities that Satan looks for ways to influence believers. Is he influencing you through one of these doors? Ephesians 4:26

Are you grounded in your faith? Are you a born again believer? Is your faith a growing faith? 1 Corinthians 13

Faith is foundational to growing and becoming a balanced, mature believer. Is your faith abiding or remaining? 1 Corinthians 13

How do you do in loving others unconditionally? 1 Corinthians 13

Why does God love you? Because you are good? Nope. Because you are bad? Nope. Is God’s love for you any more or less because you are saved? Nope. 1 John 4

Atheists are negative because they have no faith in God and no positive future according to their beliefs. Without faith, they have no hope. What kind of a future do you want to look forward to? Use your shield of faith today so you are not a negative person. Ephesians 6

God has thoughts of you and I today. What is He thinking about you? Have you asked Him? How do you reflect Him back to Himself? Jeremiah 29
