The second of a triplet on Fine Grains for the Surrey-based producer, Herman. Four ruminating low-end constructions with the heads down crew always in mind. With clubs starting to re-open, the 'Narcissus EP' lands at the perfect moment. 'Sol' takes on a heady mix of tribal drums, haunting distorted vocal snippets and teasing breakbeats. And this is the essence of the 'Narcissus EP', as we go furth...

Basilica’s fourth submission comes courtesy of one it’s earliest roster holders, the newest sculptor of the both historic and ever changing ‘Bristol Bass’ sound - Kahter. Kahters sound has always been a juxtaposition between spacious subtlety combined and contrasted with huge drum presence and swollen bass. Making his early debuts on labels such as Glome Sound, Manuka, Circular Jaw and, most recen...

Phrixus returns with the next instalment of Random Beats & Pieces, a series of hard drive extraditions manifested as self releases. Effortlessly sliding between fragments of bmore, footwork, sci-fi film music, noise and IDM, the EP showcases the wildly rich tapestry of influences and sounds the London-based beat maker and sound designer is known for. 'Bmore>STAND UP!’ hits hard with an arrangement...

In contrast to their previous EP’s, ‘Xenolith’ ups the intensity focusing on rugged breakbeats and destructive low end pressure. Across four tracks the duo experiment at different tempos, unearthing a myriad of themes inspired by forensic analysis and autonomous technological forces. Like alloys mysteriously grown from ore, fragmented artefacts of familiar origin take on new meaning. ‘Xenolith’ is...

Mantissa’s second venture into the label space comes from Bristol-born DJ / producer & radio host Bex. Percussive, heavy, bolty and jolty, the record is full of moments destined for those wanting to lose themselves on the dancefloor through Bex’s signature emotive soundscapes. Her late 2021 debut EP release, “Feels EP” felt reflective and warm, influenced by the increased introspection during lock...

A debut EP by Bodega3 co-founder DJ Gerard. An electronic journey where a fellow knight turn into a war hero. ‘Age of Sudden’ is an accumulation of twirling voices slowly building up to an heavy bass-led track, melting with chopped-up jazz samples breaks before gliding into a mutant 4x4/trap beat that concludes the EP. @discjockey-gerard Buy: https://dampe-is-dj-gerard.bandcamp.com/album/dj-gerard...

On February 25th, Palms Out will release the first in a series of compilations on cassette and digital. Titled plainly: "End Broken Windows", 100% of the proceeds of the series will go to charity in an effort to raise awareness about broken windows policing methods. Breaks, bass, dub, techno, rave, acid, electro and Eurodance; 'Transnaturel' transcends genre. The first-ever compilation on Nehza Records is a mixed pot of sounds, and together they collide to highlight the beauty of nature and where we, as humans, stand with our environment in 2022.
