Daniel K's Let's Plays

It's a slightly long one listeners. Sorry about that, but that's just gonna happen some times. In this episode I played a snippet of the song 'Gong Back to Yokine' by the dearly departed Perth rapper Hunter. Listen to the whole thing here: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=back+to+yokine There's something really gratifying about hearing someone rap about a tiny tiny little shitty suburb...

In this episode I play, and am confused by, Saturdays: An AGBIC-Jam game done by Pizza Makes Games. Follow him here https://twitter.com/Pizzamakesgames and play his game here https://pizzamakesgames.itch.io/saturdays Part two coming swoon... Also here's a little gallery of photos from inside the walled city I mentioned early on in this ep https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/kow...

So with all of it's full-on fish content, THIS is way closer to being a Bahamut game than that bahamut game was... oh well. This is a very cool game done by a guy named Robin Gibson. Follow him here https://twitter.com/metalsnail or here https://www.instagram.com/robinmgibson/ and also try out his game here https://metalsnail.itch.io/morino

Latest episode in my series in which I play games which come out of the 'A Game By Its Cover' jam. Normal pokémon service will resume very shortly everyone, don't worry.

So listeners! It's been a really interesting experience LPing these little indi-games in the audio-only format. The first one, Rusty Blade, felt like the perfect kind of game for my channel. The second one was an exciting example of visual complexity which challenged my ability to report on what was happening on screen... And now here comes Bee in the Garden! Oh boy!

Layer Lady 01. (AGBIC-Jam game 02). In this episode of the Daniel K's Let's Plays audio-only let's play podcast I audio-let's play a game called Layer Lady! by Jérémie Tessier! You can follow him here https://twitter.com/poik007 and find his game here https://poik007.itch.io/layer-lady Check it out!

Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise 02. (Season -02 episode - 17). There's a strange melancholy all through this episode listeners. Maybe this game's dark, hopeless aesthetic is getting to me. But that all gets turned around in the end by a bear butt...

In the Daniel K recommends segment I recommended the podcast Toon In Pod. Find their twitter here https://twitter.com/ToonInPod and their podcast her...

Closing music was The Drones, Six Ways to Sunday...

Pokemon Blue Nuzlocke Challenge 05. (Season -02 episode -13). In this slightly disjointed fifth episode of the nuzlocke challenge, we welcome a cool new member to the team. It was good. I like this episode. Closing music was The Drones, Six Ways to Sunday.

Moomin's Tale 03. (Season -02 episode -12). Not sure what to say about this one folks except I'm sorry things got so out of hand. I'm especially sorry for swearing so much. I'm gonna try to do that less from now on. It's cheep. Closing music was Suicide Blues by Stringbean.

Moomin's Tale 02. (Season -02 episode -11). I'm playing more Moomin's Tale, a game based on the stories of Margaret Atwood. Ha ha ha ha ha. Get it? Yeah jk jk. It's based on Tove Jansson's stories. I said I wouldn't play any more of this because it's a bad game. But then I thought hey maybe I would anyway, and I did. I hope you enjoy listening to me having an increasingly difficult time playing th...

Moomin's Tale 01. (Season -02 episode -09). Hi everyone. In this episode I play a bad game. I knew it would be bad going in to it, but was hoping it would have some redeeming features... Did it have those features in the end? You'll need to listen to find out!.. that it didn't. Oh well. Hey, so at the end of the episode I say I'm not going to be playing any more of this game... but if you liked th...

Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke challenge 02. (Season -02 episode -06). New episode of the Pokémon Blue nuzlocke challenge inwhich our plucky team of pokémen and women forge ahead through Viridian Forest. I used a few seconds from the song Fear And Loathing In Viridian Forest by Love Through Cannibalism. You can download the whole album for free here: https://lovethroughcannibalism.bandcamp.com/album/metapo...

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 02. (Season -02 episode -05). I decided to keep all those intros in--even though the second and third ones were rendered obsolete by the first one--simply because I thought the second one had some podcast recommendations too valuable to cut out, and I thought the third one was kinda funny. You can watch all of the movie Riki-Oh just by typing the words "Riki"...

Pokémon Blue Nuzlocke 01. (Season -02 episode -04). It's episode one of a brand new series! I'm playing Pokémon Blue on an actual gameboy colour. But that's not all folks!
