2 Fast 2 Forever: The Fast and Furious Podcast

We're winding down Lap 10 by heading to outer space for another ride as we're joined by Julian Lytle (Critics Choice Association, idobi.com) to talk about F9! First, though, we talk about Daniela Melchior joining the franchise and a Reddit theory that suggests Dom has been in a coma since the end of the first movie. We then chat about Young Rock (Season 2, Episode 2) (18:30) and welcome in a "new...

After leafing through more terrible YouTube comments, we talk about the Season 2 premiere of Young Rock (18:25-24:20) before diving into the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (24:20) to see Brian play a game of chicken with Fonzie. Then, we welcome in John Siino (host...

We're headed back to Samoa -- "The island will provide, brother." -- to talk about Hobbs & Shaw with Michelle Farley! After sharing some new TV recommendations, we get into spoiler-heavy conversations about The Endgame (Season 1, Episode 3) (13:54 to 17:35), The Afterparty (Season 1) (17:40 to 24:37), and The Batman (24:37 to 35:43), so if you haven't seen those yet and don't want them spoiled, sk...

We're heading back to Jason Statham's first on-screen role with patron Lane Middleton's pick of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels! We've got a supersized episode this week as Josh Buckley (Whole Lotta Wolves) joins us to talk about The Fate of the Furious! After chatting about pool tables and Pokemon cards, we try to figure out what "Frozen Furious" is and hear what you have to say about The Transporter. Then, we enter the #2F2F Minute (35:00) to wonder what Bilkins really thinks of Brian an...

We're drifting through time once again this week as Reid Vanier (Doctor DC Podcast) joins us to talk about The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift! After some faucet talk, we wonder if Leon could be Kenny Linder's son before talking about an absolute yawn of a 2 Fast 2 Furious minute (28:30) that makes us wonder whether Brian and Roman have ever gone running and gunning. Then, we board a red-eye to...

Jason Statham plays a farmer named Farmer in In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, and we're here to tell you all about it. After more kitten talk (and the sharing of kitten pictures, which I guess you can't see because this is an audio medium), we share a quick update to the #2F2F format and then learn a lot about Jordana Brewster. (Or do we?) Then, we remember Elian Gonzalez in the 2 Fa...

We’re (sort of accidentally) journeying closer to Fast & Furious 6 than ever before this week as we welcome in Meriah Doty Treviño! Before Meriah joins us, though, we talk about the Steelers, kittens, and Racer Trash before imagining some YouTube comment-inspired vanity plates we could adorn our cars with. We run through a busy “On the Streets” segment of topics on the periphery of the Fastiverse...

We talk New Year's Eve stuff and debut a new segment before heading to the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (23:05) to spend a LOT of time parsing out where people live in 2F2F. Then, we avenge our families as we break down The Eight Diagram Pole Fighter (42:00). We wonder: Is Gordon Liu the...

We welcomed in our Spy Racers correspondents, Kevo Risse and Nico Vasilo, to talk about our final thoughts on both this season and the show as a whole. We discuss flaws we uncovered only in its final season, share a genuinely sad far...

Then, Kurt Tommy (Pajiba) joins us to talk about Fast Five (35:30). After wondering how the Shaws and Baby Brian escape the...

We compare it to the first Crank movie, as well as other sequels in other franchises. We also get into the whole Bai Ling of it all, the Kaiju fight, and what, exactly, is going on with David Carradine. We also talk about Jason Statham's portrayal of a video game character,...

We're celebrating "Christmas with the Cranks" with (no additional modifiers) fan favorite Garrett Smith this week, and we're kicking things off with the original Crank! After chatting about the MCU and Mike Flanagan stuff for a while, we make a strong pitch for the Patreon and what to watch between now and New Year's Eve, including the (delightful) Young Rock holiday special. Then, we're hunting f...

Then, we try to separate Campos from Braga as we break down Fast & Furious (45:30). We talk about watching multi...

We’re celebrating the holiday season with Collateral Beauty, a movie that’s so crazy and unique that it must be seen to be believed. Then, we welcome in Alonso Duralde (Linoleum Knife, I’ll Be Home for Christmas Movies) to talk all...

We’re headed back to Miami (“the city with buckets of rats!”) to talk about 2 Fast 2 Furious with Brendan Klinkenberg! After dropping some bombshell Spy Racers news (and realizing how similar it is in many ways to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies), we head back to Carter Verone’s house to toss some cigars around in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (22:35). Then, we’re joined by Brendan (32:35) to find o...

We're saying goodbye to Lap 9 (our modern car movies lap, aka "the lap where we watched F9 a whole bunch) and welcoming in Lap 10 in our mechanic-prescribed Lap 9 Tune-Up (Recap/Relap)! After we talk about Eternals, we do a comprehensive breakdown of Vin Diesel's post on Instagram directed squarely at Dwayne Johnson and talk all about the new video game Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise Of SH1FT3R i...

Red Notice, now on Netflix, stars Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. How can we not cover what is, kind of sort of, a Hobbs & Shaw prequel?! In this episode, we talk about the many Fastnections, the many double-crosses, and when this movie could slot in, time-wise, into the Fastiverse. We also discuss watching a movie that delivers exactly what you think it's going to and try to get to...

We're unofficially closing out Lap 9 by talking about F9 (once again) with Mary Jo Pehl (Mystery Science Theater, Rifftrax)! Before Mary Jo joins us, we talk about new movies and Halloween candy before trying to decode The Rock's idea for a Hobbs & Shaw sequel. Then, we take an incredibly deep dive into Roman's history in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (24:15) as we examine lots of text that appears...

After talking a few more horror movies, we head into the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (18:30) as Joe does some deep detective work on some Charlie Brown-looking Christmas trees on the side of a Floridian highway. Then, we drop the needle on Baby Driv...
