Words About Books

This week the boys spin a wheel of books contributed by our Patreon and land on The Futurlogical Congress. How will we solve our overpopulation problem? Just never stop building. And drugs. Lots and lots of drugs. Did Nate finish this episode and then forget to upload it? Maybe. But once you forget this came out late, we'll say it didn't. We'll gaslight you that we never ever missed a due date and that maybe you're the one who remembered things wrong. Anyway we're jumping RIGHT BACK into this book. No intro. Just boom, you're in the book, getting talked at. I hope that Fletcher...

I hope you're ready for us to lay the groundwork and then we're gonna invade Westeros so that we can die and put our butt-named son on the throne after us. Is this what you want? A special bonus episode! This week we discuss Harry Potter in detail. We spend a lot of time analyzing the books in great detail, including concepts such as "what is a philosopher stone even?" We did avoid mention of the author, this is just pure Harry Potter discussion. You won't find coverage of Harry Potter like this anywhere else on the internet! Support the show Blue Sky - http...

This week the boys talk about the first book in the Animorphs series. They talk about it. Like a book club. They don't just read the book into the microphone. Anyone who listens to it for like 1 minute would get this. It's not actually that complicated or hard to comprehend or understand. If we were to read this book it would take longer than an hour. You would have to be some sort of so...

Words About Books is nearing the end of it's filler arc and for no reason in particular that inspired Ben to revisit Beware of Chicken.  Support the show Blue Sky - https://bsky.app/profile/wordsaboutbooks.bsky.social Discord - https://discord.gg/6BaNRtcP8C Threads - https://www.threads.net/@wordsaboutbookspodcast Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/wordsaboutbookspodcast Blog - https://blo...

This week we have to finish up 4 or 5 more storylines. But we ALSO have to take you on a journey of words and delight all of your senses. I uhh, don't know what else to say. Ben told me to tell you that this is for fans more than anything because it goes off on tangents pretty regularly. But I had fun doing it and that's what counts.  In this chapter we climb a mountain. The mountain is evil. We go back down the mountain. This week Ben says we're in the "filler arc." Well Ben, is talking for almost 2 hours about a book "filler" to you? Do you know how much effort I put into this? Do you know how many notes I took? How thorough of a job I did? This isn't filler, Ben. This was NEVER filler. How dare you. How DARE you. Support the show Blue Sky - https://bsky.app/profile/wordsaboutbooks.b...

This week the Patrons voted on us reading a Sonic Comic but not the Archie Comics one, the IDW one. It's written by Ian Flynn. The story is "Sonic fights a thing and runs into one of his friends and where is Doctor Eggman?" I just summaraized the comic.
