Super sleepy this week and feeling a little uninspired so I got so,e weird presets and threw them together into an arthouse interpretive dance mash of simple chaos. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

The last several weeks have been pretty stressful, and it looks likely that at least the next few will be pretty stressful as well, but I'm hoping to get a little breather before the end of the year.  You never know with the curveballs life likes to throw though.  Anyway, just kind of used this track as an excuse to rant/blow off steam a little. _____________________________________...

Week 38 Goal at start 9/17 Use a reference song for drum patterns. End notes 9/18 My drum reference for this was Westfield by Bladee. Recreating this pattern (an approximation at least) definitely gave my rhythm brain a good challenge and it’s clear I need to do this more. Plan for next week Repeat week 38 goal 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

BarristerPlong lives not that far away from where I rehearse with my good friend Niko. We arranged that he bring his very cool headless guitar and come to jam with us last Thursday. Before the jam, I did hook up 3 mics (one pointing to the drums, one close cab for both guitars). "Drum mic" really is a room mic that gets everything, but it is good enough to start with something. It was ve...

Aims this week: Do a kinda boogie track that has a bass note on the first 3 beats of the bar and a clap on 4 ... that's it. Process notes on my blog, as usual. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Hi everyone :) This track was actually pretty tricky to produce. Not because it was super complicated or anything, but because I almost fell asleep from the relaxed vibe more than once. I know that sounds bananas, but that's honestly how it was. Here's my entry for this week. Hope you like it! :) Have a good one! Cheers KaZu P.S. I'm thankful for any constructive feedback and opinio...

Yeahhh unfortunately this is just one of those weeks where I don't have time to compose. So slapped this together after creating some new MPE presets on my Push 3. It does have some cool jingly resonant sounds I'd be interested in doing more with, but I just don't have the time to do so this week! Onward we march into week 39. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (B...

Week 38/Song 13 I find I still start and stop songs. Maybe it is being scared they will be in the world or someone might ask me what it means (when it may mean nothing or everything at the same time). The piano on this one came to me while fiddling around on the upright but I wasn't sure where to go with the lyrics. Should they be happy and optimistic or more doomsday style. I finally sat dow...

dumb trance-sounding synth track.  it really needs some more melodic variation.  2026 CC0 Creative Commons Zero (Public Domain)

Still in a slump. At least this time I was able to sorta kinda drag myself out of it but not without leaving two beats behind this week. The result is a trap/drill mess that goes kinda hard but is rather simple. I've recorded some vocals (beyond the ad libs included in this version), if you're interested, you can find that version on soundcloud. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

I have spent far too long off this platform. Been busy with recording, touring and playing shows but had time to write this, kind of had this on the back burner and it still is, need to mix it but wanted to share it with you all. Hope to release this on streaming platforms soon. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

This weeks weekly beats is a 909 day entry. The track is all Roland Cloud A 909, 4 Junos and a Jupiter. It's a follow up to my 808 day entry Super Scaler. They say the 909 is a lot less mix ready than the 808 and they aren't kidding. I had to do so much processing and it still doesn't sound as punchy as the 808 does out of the box. The Junos on the other hand are pretty much all swe...

It’s been awhile since I’ve uploaded a track. I’ve been making music but haven’t been able to share it yet. I’ve been working on a goatrance project with a friend of mine all spring and summer. We’ve completed a full album and working on its release. Anyhow, I was booked to play a hour and a half set so I needed a long techno track to help fill the set. This is what came out and it performed prett...

I had the MPC Sample since release and didnt really know if I should keep it, what to do with it, since I already have two other modern MPC´s. But this week I played around with it a lot, and the simplicity of the device is really nice. So here is a tune I have made with the Sample. Tracked it out in Ableton and started messing with the sounds. Maybe too much. I resampled many things through some...

it's comical how difficult things have been. I mean, I still have some things to be grateful for.. but god damn when it comes to friends and relationships.. just cooked honestly. I've in the past felt like I'm slowly transforming into a demon or something other than a human, by virtue of suffering. I just feel like more and more I can't trust anyone.. I can just trust that ever...
